Another feature not mentioned is the platter brake. This has a pretty heavy cast aluminum platter and if it was belt drive or didn’t have a brake, it can take some time for the platter to stop spinning when flipping the record.. But with this machine, it comes to a stop very quickly, something I’ve always liked while using mine.
