Another gorgeous painting. Love the horn. It’s cool you don’t have to keep a running water line because she has glasses on. I like the brush strokes for the beads. I’m trying to get into my mind that you can use many colors and tones/values for painting as you go. Many make you use one color at a time but I’ve never been able to make that work. You’ve shown me that each color can blend beautifully and I don’t have to stress as much on NOT allowing the colors to blend together. I keep learning. Thanks for continuing to teach us. Hugz, Tree

Thank you for understanding my intention that it is better to make it appear as one color considering all the colors around it.
Thank you for always watching with interest.

Your paintings are always remarkable. Do you intentionally leave gaps in the painting to give the impression of looseness and energy?

Hi, I'm always fascinated by your marvellous paintings. Here in Italy it's not easy to find Chinese brushes in physical art stores, so we have to rely on online shops but often they are unbranded and may be low quality. There is any brand of brushes that you can suggest me please? I would like to buy a nice one. Which size is it yours in the video? Thx a lot for your attention.

    • @misulbu
      @misulbu  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I also buy online.
These are cheap calligraphy brushes imported from China and have no brand name.
It is made of goat hair.
The total length of the brush is about 20cm, the bristles are 3.5cm long and 1cm thick.
And if you search for calligraphy brushes on a large online site like Amazon, you can purchase brushes of the same material but with different shapes.
      Thank you for watching.

As a beginner, i wish i knew where you let things dry vs painting while the previous layer/color is still wet. All the jump cuts make it hard to tell 😢

    • @misulbu

It is difficult to explain in words because it varies depending on the concentration of water. If the water concentration is high, paint with thick paint. If the water concentration is light, paint with a little paint.

Would you please be so kind as to tell us what kind of paper or canvas that you use? It would be nice if you tell us the brand or what we are looking for. How about the paint brushes and paint? I would love to learn how to paint like you but I understand the tools matter a lot. Thank you in advance for the enlightenment and guidance!

      I use canson arches rough.
I use Shinhan (SWC) and watercolor paints from a company called Mijello in Korea.
The brush I use is a calligraphy brush. It's made of goat hair and is a cheap brush imported from China, so there's no brand.
      Thank you for watching.
