I did the inverted aquarium 30+ yrs ago! A 30 gallon with a 10 gallon inverted tank worked really well. I had the lip of the inverted tank 2 in below the water level. I also had decorations in the inverted aquarium! Y'all stay safe!
More like Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch and Dinner. I had 4 turtles and anytime we got crayfish it was feeding frenzy friday. They ate pinchers and all. They won't be around long if in a turtle pond.
Although these things are pretty cool, it is incredibly dangerous for the animals, especially the turtles and frogs. They will go up there for a breath of air and get trapped and drown because they may not figure out that they must swim down and around to reach the surface. Just a forewarning. And the fact that you mentioned that the turtle tried to get in but couldn't figure out how to get in just kinda shows that it is a real threat. Just trying to help! Also, I believe that is just a regular house cat. Most bobcats have little black tufts of hair pointing up from the tips of their ears, as well as some longer hair coming out from their cheeks. With that being said, it's still hard to tell from this picture. And not to mention the characteristics mentioned above are much less prominent or even nonexistent in some bobcats. As I'm typing this, I'm beginning to realize that what I have said is not much help at all lol. Love the videos though!
While it wouldn't look as nice, couldn't you add a bubbler and a constant pump and a sensor to keep a constant amount of air up in one of those inverted tanks?
I just happened to stumble across your channel. I love it. I'm all about my pond I'm up to 3 level pond now. I think you have an amazing set up inside and out definitely gonna start watching your channel.
Inverted tank in the pond was really neat ....all the critters on the new property are adorable....I agreed,I think momma deer in pregnant maybe with twins? She's big ....have a great day !
You should definitely get a rimless tank, maybe acrylic. And an iron frame should work good if you can have it powder coated or something. Loving the pond!!
I am a new subscriber and for the last 24 hours I have binge watched every backyard pond video from the beginning and I am looking forward to watching many many more Videos I just love your channel 🐟🐠🐡🦐🦞🐢🌱🌴🌻
Kenorites love these videos. Lake of the Woods territory, Canada. Kisses from this Canadian Cowgirl. Its our bdays Dec 2nd 2020 and spent it watching your delightful backyard pond. Love it. Keep up the great work. My best wishes to ur new adventures. Hugs, take care neighbors, share the love of nature.
If it's just an experiment then the inverted tank was cool. If it's permanent it takes away from the beauty of the pond. It's not big enough for that. Sometimes havens are fine just as they are
Kind of surprised you don't spend more time in the pond 😆. I wouldn't try the inverted tank with Moby in the pond. He'd probably go up in there to eat, do a big blowup, and send the tank down. Don't know if thats possible but he'd be the one to do it, 😆. The cat looked like a regular house cat. Yall stay safe out there. If Milo does slide in the pond one day I hope your there to catch it on video. That will be priceless.
Aquamaxx makes a 22 gallon rimless tank that has been great for one of my tanks and would work really well for the inverted tank. I would just reinforce the seams with some more silicone and put some padding under were the tank touches the brick or whatever you use
Love your videos. You can run an extra long razor blade along the inside perimeter of the aquarium base plastic a couple times and it will come off. The best option for the most seamless look is an acrylic aquarium. Disadvantages are that they are expensive and scratch more easily but they may work well for this application.
Tiller, troller, outboard and inboard for the crawfish names. And stay safe w all that crazy weather headed you’re way, glad you didn’t get to bad damage from the last one 🤞that luck holds!
How am I finding this channel so late in my life. Such beautiful pond man. Beautiful fish. I just took in 2 baby blue gill I think. They could be punkinseeds. Idk my fish to well. I know they are legal bait in my state and the large mouth, smallies, and northern pike love them. They are candy to them. But any way. They live with my turtle which is a baby himself, they are only a 1 and half to 2 inch fish. They are learning how to be city fish from my platy fish I keep too. I plant to have a 200 gallon stock pond for the turtle and them bluegills. They are very pretty fish to me. I do have a large mouth and small mouth that are in the pond up at camp. Its a big pond and way over run with frogs and crayfish.
That is so cool! Especially with the waterfall in the background. It would be awesome if you could get an acrylic tank with no seams or any black trim so you wouldn’t even be able to really see the tank at all, and also some clear acrylic legs to hold it up EDIT: Nvm, 11:55
Been watching for a while now man, since way before you got the fish in the first place, so awesome to see how far you and your fam have come, keep up the grind brotha!
I've got a question - do you need to resuck air out of the tank after a while? will it fill up with oxygen or other gasses coming from the pond after a while?
As an animal scientist who specialized in fish behavior, the first half of this video was absolutely brilliant for me. Also as an animal biologist, I'm pretty confident that's just a domestic shorthair. Could be a feral rather than someone's pet (which might explain it being a bit bigger than the average house cat) or could be owned.
I had a Fish-Tower in my pond, aka the Upside-Down fish tank, they look amazing at first but then the Algae ruins it, They look great for like the first few Months then turn green and can be hard to clean depending on where it is in the pond, my pond is 6ft Deep and the tower was in the middle making it very difficult to clean, but people with Shallow ponds of 3ft can just set up some cylinder blocks and it's much easier, it all depends on your pond, now if your pond is really deep like mine you might have to build a stand like i had to. You want a Tall and skinny glass tank, not wide but Tall so the fish can swim higher up.
You guys have totally inspired me to get my own aquarium with 2 pet largemouth bass! I just got it all set up and I absolutely love it, I really appreciate you guys, I do have a question though, I cant think of a couple name that's as cool as bonnie and clyde, and I was thinking since someone else got to name your fish, that you guys could name mine if you want too, thanks again!
The rim of the aquarium can be a few inches under water level and still work just fine, helps with the shifting water level. With the cinder blocks, maybe turn them on their sides so the fish can go in the holes and back out? Upright I wonder how many fish swam down into them and got stuck when the water drained out of the tank.
Lol i love the way it sounds when those bluegill are fanning the rocks
Those cameras pickup everything! never misses a beat 😏
Blue gill asmr
Chook-chook chook-chook chook-chook is what i heard.
You should flip those bricks onto their sides, as to give some cave spaces and possibly lower the tank into the water ,
Just saying 😃😃
that plus no stagnant water inside the bricks
Sounds like a good idea to me
This was the first thing I thought of when I saw it!
That's a good idea.
I THOUGHT THE SAME THING

You need the tank to be a solid inch under the water. The black liner should have been completely submerged
The Crawdads should be named Willie, Waylon, Kris, and Johnny for the Highwaymen
Agree!!
More like Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch and Dinner. I had 4 turtles and anytime we got crayfish it was feeding frenzy friday. They ate pinchers and all. They won't be around long if in a turtle pond.
Last two called What, and Whynot. To ryhmn
Look forward to these videos every Sunday!

True
Cody, shut up nerd.
Not only that but imho it completely ruins the aesthetics of the pond.
@@jerryshighschoolgirlfriend3737 dude, hes literally trying to save their animals and this is your response, nice
I’d be worried that a turtle would get up in there and not know to go back down to get out to breathe... 😬
These things are known for killing frogs, they are too stupid to swim down.
I don’t think he cares about the animals he’s the type of person to say it’s Mother Nature 🤷♂️😂
BIG Ps Channel he has spent a lot of money to feed and build a pond for his fish, I’d say he cares.
The tank is an eyesore if it's a permanent feature. I much prefer the pond in its natural state.
Then I guess you shouldn’t put one in your pond.
The inverted aquarium is one of the coolest things I've ever seen!
I love every video that comes out every Sunday on the bama bass channel
When I heard about your bass lake project and your new farm I couldnt resist... youve got a new subscriber! Keep up the great work!
Yall stay safe and hope it misses you guys. Love the videos and Moby is a beast of a fish.
I just happened to stumble across your channel. I love it. I'm all about my pond I'm up to 3 level pond now. I think you have an amazing set up inside and out definitely gonna start watching your channel.
Please stay safe during the hurricanes! Always enjoy your videos! So much ideas and inspiration.
Lol...that is crazy !! That cricket was just teasing the fish.
those things kill the heck out of frogs and turtles when they get trapped under them looking for air, without enough air to swim out.
That's true
Cool
Imagine a frog getting stuck in there and one of the bass strikes it in the tank
That's what happened to my favorite bullfrog , i have a small ( small 😒 )
Pond ,& use to use a large goldfish bowl and cement blocks ,, i removed it
Kian Saliany kool
This man is the calmest person in history
It’s pretty cool but I just think it takes away from the ponds look
I agree
I agree as well but A more natural looking stand maybe on top of a small mountain and a more rounded tank would look nice
Agree. The pond looks so natural and pretty. Maybe for a video or two, then take it out. Plus the turtles drowning seem like a big risk.
Just when I thought this could not get any more cooler! Love it!
Inverted tank in the pond was really neat ....all the critters on the new property are adorable....I agreed,I think momma deer in pregnant maybe with twins? She's big ....have a great day !
If the bricks were on their sides the fish could swim through. Lower the tank edge an inch below the surface.
Great video as always. I agree a rimless and aquarium and a sleeker stand will make that a lot nicer. Stay safe during the storms!
Congrats on the New property!! Cant wait for more updates..
I’m glad I found your channel! You sure manage to pack a lot of content in each episode.
it's a house cat bobs have a small beard
And bigger feet . . .
And pointed hair on the ears
Also have short bobbed tails
Yell out Bob and see if he responds.
Everything grew in real nice. Looks sweet.
I LOVE YALL! TRULY! Your family brightens my day, from Sarah to Liz, even CORY! U guys are awesome! Happy Holidays & Roll Tide!
You should definitely get a rimless tank, maybe acrylic. And an iron frame should work good if you can have it powder coated or something. Loving the pond!!
Looks great! I have to wonder what the fish make of the experience, looking out at the world above the waterline... kind of like being a flying fish!
I am a new subscriber and for the last 24 hours I have binge watched every backyard pond video from the beginning and I am looking forward to watching many many more Videos I just love your channel 🐟🐠🐡🦐🦞🐢🌱🌴🌻
i like how much you just enjoy all the animals
This will be TS number two for Alabama stay safe out there. You should try to do the brackish water fish conversion again!

That’s a beautiful pond man, can tell you really care and put in the effort
LOVE IT - I have had some crazy fish and aquatic plant ideas over the years, but this one beats mine!
You have a beautiful pond. I wish I had one but I can only watch them in youtube sitting in my small apartment.
If it's just an experiment then the inverted tank was cool. If it's permanent it takes away from the beauty of the pond. It's not big enough for that. Sometimes havens are fine just as they are
Love your video's, there're so educational. Thanks for sharing. God bless you and your family
first time watching your channel... super simple but enjoyed every minute of it!
Love the pond love the introverted tank idea and your tank is incrediblllke
You gotta stay with the ninja turtle theme for the crawfish. Krang, Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady.
Yes please!
NoahB43 I think it’s the perfect fit

Great idea! A frameless tank would look amazing!
Your backyard is what dreams are made of. Well done sir!
Stay safe, may the Almighty protect you, your family and your community. 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
Wow gonna be building your own bass lake! Living the dream BamaBass, living the dream!
0:44 that one fish made my day! 😂
He’s just casually sweeping the pond floor🤣
That bluegill was getting jiggy with it. Dancing the day away.
Seeing how happy these fish are makes me happy :)
So happy for you and your family and the blessed life yall are living
i couldn’t be more jealous of uuuuuu!!
Aquamaxx makes a 22 gallon rimless tank that has been great for one of my tanks and would work really well for the inverted tank. I would just reinforce the seams with some more silicone and put some padding under were the tank touches the brick or whatever you use
Ever thought of setting up an underwater live stream we could pull up and see the fish anytime. I think that would be pretty cool 🤷♂️
The intro is so calming 😌
Looking forward to your new farm

Love Love it! it is pretty cool.the fish is dancing how cool is that
This is absolutely beautiful man.. I always wanted to have my own Pond
Is it me or does it look like the blue Gil's were dancing lmao
I'm not the only one who giggles every time he says "peanuts" am I?
Seriously I was going to suggest that in the last video! You read my mind!
Off the wall question: Do you think its better fishing early morning or early evening?
Tiller, troller, outboard and inboard for the crawfish names. And stay safe w all that crazy weather headed you’re way, glad you didn’t get to bad damage from the last one 🤞that luck holds!
Potential names: Spade, Clubs, Hearts, Diamond
Diamond, and clover
ty rs
That's just clubs.
A big sphere tank would look super cool vacuumed out 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Hope you and everybody is safe down there!
0:48 8:09 that large fish at the bottom left corner is a scene stealer! 😂 🐟
Holy crap Moby got huge! Been following you guys for years

Your videos are the best tbh
underwater drone footage would be amazing
It’s gonna be game over for the backyard pond if moby ever gets in there lol
Stay safe guys. Hope the weather don't hit you too bad
Best POND build on youtube

Can't wait to see the upcoming videos on your new land and future lake keep killing it man 🙌
0:46 fish.exe has stopped working
He’s vibin
She's building her nest aka her redd
I hope that you weathered the storms well.
Hope y’all and the pond are ok through this storm ☔️
Watching the wet dry vac suck the water up was worth the price of the show 👍🏻
thats what the tanks on the other side of the earth look like
Flat earthers = triggered
@@ZLink0692 they live on the other side of the flat earth
you mean australia?
Nathan Park flat earthers believe you can live on the other side going from left to right, not from upside to downside.
ZLink0692 Your flat earth colors are showing lol
Love this channel and u guys store best products on the market
I love the backyard bass pond!
Life goals right there. Very cool.
Been watching for a while now man, since way before you got the fish in the first place, so awesome to see how far you and your fam have come, keep up the grind brotha!
In love with your backyard someday I wanna make my backyard look like that
Saying some prayers for you and your family during this time
nice idea with the fish tank
Such amazing work! My vote is for housecat from pattern and smoothness around the skull and ear shape.
Bless you and Milo he looks so sweet you are really living my dream sir. Lol
I've got a question - do you need to resuck air out of the tank after a while? will it fill up with oxygen or other gasses coming from the pond after a while?
rimless aquarium would be even more amazing, but this looks super dope still!

Ohhhh thats what the bluegills are doing, I thought they just had some really sick dance moves
Dude hope you guys are well I know Laura slammed that area today...great video...
The most amazing part about whole video, a shop vac sucking up water. Still magical to me.
