Jericho did have a 2 parter with Triple H on his podcast several years ago and they do get a bit into their past issues. I don't remember the date, but it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Well, Jericho has been open about it tho more than HHH. I wish HHH would be more open about stuff backstage cus he is center of such a big topic like him, Steph and cheating on Chyna etc.
But yeah, Jericho didn't really respect/ lack of awareness towards the lockeroom enough when he arrived in 99. And he had to dig himself back once he buried taker on his second promo.
But HHH seemed to be a real ass back then, y2j asking for directions to a arena, HHH buried him back. And, yeah HHH was just getting his big break when y2j arrived. He was so feared about this new charismatic guy, getting this hyped up package- and stood tall in his debut against the rock on the mic. Not many could do that.
HHH thought he had paid his dues from when he arrived in 95 and the 96 msg incident with the kliq.
I mean think about it, if HHH wasent there, y2j prob would take his spot. 2001 invasion and vengence for example maybe?
I respect Taker's commitment to his character, and I think it was the right thing that he didn't do a spinaroonie. Though it would have been awesome to see.

Yeah they really passrd up on a great. Though the Taker persona made Mark a legend, it was lack of imagination on the part of wcw not lack of ability on Mark's part.
Looking back, it's kinda baffling just how bad WCW fucked itself. Who did eventually win the Monday night wars for WWE? The one big name who remained in WWE (aside from Michales pre injuries) and they thought would never draw money. The guy they let go in 1995 because they felt he was lacking. The hardcore guy they thought was too old to wrestle. The big guy they thought was too gimmicky. The young guys who got a chance in WWE because they had no one left. And all the midcarters who felt stuck in WCW. Meanwhile, the big WWE names in WCW with big contracts and backstage powers were killing their own progress. Oh the irony.

Agreed. Might get away with doing something gimmicky like that post-retirement for a lark, now that we are getting to know the Mark Calloway behind the Undertaker, but not then. Although, I can fully understand the company's determination to make it happen. I'd probably have to try to get away with it myself haha

I personally don't think so. It would have just been a cool one time thing. Kane's done plenty of goofy stuff and is still top tier.
Couldn't agree more. Taker was the only guy to keep kayfabe right til the end, that move would have destroyed that not only for us but for him too all the hard work preserving his character would have been gone in an instant. I know it's gone now, but he retired knowing he'd kept it for 30yrs he deserves to tell us about it now ❤

I met The Undertaker he is super cool
One moment that sticks out for me. Vince McMahon is in the back talking with Kurt Angle Stone Cold Steve Austin Kane and The Undertaker and I believe Chris Jericho. And he's hyping them up for the invasion pay-per-view. And everything Vince says stone cold is repeating and at one point you just trying to get the Undertaker to break because he keeps repeating it and yelling and slapping the Undertaker in the chest to get them riled up. And The Undertaker just looked at him with this dirty look. You can search for it
I saw it, it was so funny. I think Jericho was just hiding his face cause he was laughing. I bet only kane with mask was very comfortably laughing at Stone Cold 😂

Lol this story is hilarious. I wanted to see a takeroonie. It's crazy how many pro wrestling legends were told that they would not make it in their careers.
Wise of him not to do it. We all know he's human, Mark Calaway; we've seen his kids and seen him kiss his wife. But a takeroonie would have ridiculed his character.

It's honestly funnier that he never did it. The fact that a bunch of jacked up muscle bound dudes were all trying their best to get "The Dead Man" to do a breakdancing move is just so funny.

Am I the only one that is completely shocked that WCW told not only stone cold but the Undertaker that they wouldn't be big and that they would make money orbea draw? Only for those two guys to go onto BB greatest drawers and the greatest entertainers in the ring that we've ever seen. Grown up watching WCW WWE looking back at it is crazy how bad WCW screwed up.
