I want to explain something I've noticed in this game. The taxes, really don't matter. Stead had to choose at 2:45 between Chef, or Film director. The chef had a 100k salary and 90k taxes. The film director had a 70k salary and 30k taxes. Now say in the event that he chose chef, he got paid 3 times and taxed once, 3x100k-300k-90k=210k. Now, say he did the same thing with the film director. 70kx3=210k-30k=180. So regardless he still would have made more money with the higher-paying job. So, in conclusion, taxes mean nothing in The Game Of Life 2. At 4:25 Jerome had to choose between Gatherer and Fire dancer. I'll repeat the formula. 80kx3=240k-50k=190k. 120kx3=360k-110k=250k. So again, taxes don't matter.
This version is broken if you just focus entirely on getting as much money as possible and skipping getting kids and a wife/husband. Unfortunately theirs no armed robbery or playing statues with guards like the first game.
