    Hey Boone, Amazing work. You took it way up to the next level. When your done with all of the Magnetic Racing buildings you should get on with the guys from Magnetic Racing and interview them and talk about the projects that you did and make a great Video out of it.

    Hi Boone, what can I say, a tall Magnetic Racing kit (beautiful), turned into a masterpiece, the video is long, but it is worth watching it all! until the end, why? well because with all the tips and techniques you show and explain, it's absolutely worth it!, and trust me for what little English I understand, imagine a native speaker as passionate as you are! lighting up the kit like that was a stroke of genius. Thanks Boone you created another masterpiece for your circuit, like the waterfall, the trailer park, and well what the hell your whole circuit is gorgeous (as usual I hope google translator has done his duty), have a wonderful day, greetings from Italy.

      At the time of the video I just wired in the LEDs to my power supply for my track lighting, and the controller was kept the same way as it was designed.

    Boone, when you decide to move your layout to a different location, you may try the Smithsonian because your work is museum quality all the way! You need a Lionel layout to work on too!:)

    It looks great at the end.
    But being new to the scenery world I was hoping you would have shown how you wired it up at the end to make it work.
    Last thing we saw was the wires running down the straw and that was it.
    You explained everything so well with the loom , just not how it’s wired to power up.
    Otherwise another great video 👍

      Hey Boon, so did you cut the plugs off the neon and solder the wires on to the main feed?

    • @BoonesSlotCarGarage
      @BoonesSlotCarGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@robertmunro3651 I sliced the wires and added wire so I can control the switch from the side of the track. Otherwise I would have had to climb under the table to turn the neon on. Then at this point you can just leave the controls the way they came or you can open the backside where the battery is located and solder onto the power supply and then run those wires to your electrical control box that the other wires are connected to as well.

    Since it's all laser cut anyway, why don't they just cut all the pieces completely out and send just the pieces instead of kit style where everything still has to be final cut out. Weird.

    • @BoonesSlotCarGarage
      @BoonesSlotCarGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Only issue with that is some of the pieces are delicate and will break easily. Keeping in the boards adds the protection needed to ship safely.. but I understand what you are saying..

    • @ThinkScalextric
      @ThinkScalextric 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We used to do that, but with postage, it took hours to pack them safely enough not to break. This way is much better for posting around the world :)

    • @marcuslinton310
      @marcuslinton310 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I guess that makes sense considering the piss poor way packages get handled these days.

  • @ellisjames7192
    @ellisjames7192 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why do you till figures standing with that base around their feet? Takes away from the look of the layout. You know that cannot look real.

    • @BoonesSlotCarGarage
      @BoonesSlotCarGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      😂… yes I agree Ellis.. but I’m not done in this area. And I might be moving my layout to a new location in the near future.
