This guy was my number one and Oshkosh plant for some time. Now that I’ve had him for almost a year, I feel very confident in sharing my care tips with you guys. I hope you enjoy!

This and a few other begonias are in my wishlist! I really want to make a terrarium, but I think it's too cold now & I will have to wait til spring to order... I can't wait!
Terrariums are sooo cool! And it’s better to be safe than sorry with begonias and cold weather. I look forward to hearing about your terrarium in the spring 💚
I have this plant in a dome and the bottom leaves are dropping… but it is putting out new leaves… ughhh😮

It's my second try with a begonia amphioxus because I love it so much, and it's dying again :'( I have it in a terrarium with a lot of air humidity and its personal heather during winter. I don't know what I am not doing right...
You might be drying it out with the heater. I keep mine very moist
Thought I wanted one of those. Now.... I don't know. Seems like an awful lot of work. I also like to touch and Love on all my plants. ✌🏻❤ 🍃🌿🍃
No no! It’s not that much work. Just put it in a cloche and you’re good to go 🥰
@@HeatherHoyas The stick is a bamboo skewer. I have packs of the around for crafts etc. Is it in the same pot you got it in ? I got 2 and I want to repot into 1.

@@diannenaworensky6698 oh yay!! That’s exciting! Yeah I don’t see why not or how that would hurt. I’d recommend (being on the safe side) using some latex gloves when you repot. That way even if there is any leftover bacteria on your hands, you won’t get it on the foliage. I just took a bunch of cuttings off of mine the other day and just stuck them right back into the soil with the mother plant.
I just got one recently and it's been dropping leaves. Around 2 new leaves every other day (new ones). It's also in a glass shelf with 99% humidity 😔
Maybe it’s not getting enough light? Also make sure the soil is nice and damp and try not to touch the leaves if possible. I find that more leaves drop on mine when I touch her.
I transferred mine two days ago closer to the light and I think that worked wonders. It didn't drop a leaf anymore. Crossing my fingers!
I just bought one about this size for 12 bucks.
