You should do throwback reviews. Similar to the retro reviews but with shoes like the Ctrs or T90 and just compare them to what we have today, if they're still warable, and if the technology implemented was as good as what we have today.

A few that come to mind are the PureControl, the original variation of the Phantom 2 and the UA Spotlight. None of them are bad shoes, I just don't care for them personally, mainly due to the way they fit and feel.
Yes and no. The shoe has the same overall vibe as the Maestri 3, but the 3D texturing the've implemented make them a little different. They're a solid option if you were a fan of the Maestris.
I have these and love how they feel with the kanga-lite but they don't offer them in a turf variation. I know they have the ag stud pattern but I'm not allowed to use them on the surface I'll be playing on. Is there any turf shoe that would offer the padded sensation of the kanga-lite upper the opus 2 has?

You would really have to ask Nike for that answer, but I would assume they didn't because it isnt the top line product like the Adult Sizes are, therefore the Kids sizes are cheaper and maybe that why it didn't come with a string bag..
I have the Aces and they have some decent width but they aren't super wide. I don't know much about hypervenoms but I do know that they have decent space too

After you explained the upper it makes it more appealing. At first glance it looks like rubber applications similar to the predators.

The upper is definitely more padded in comparison to the Mercurial l and Hypervenom lines.

They won't fall off. They aren't glued to the surface, they're part of the upper.

Nothing specific comes to mind. Maybe the MagistaX Proximo 2 in turf is worth look.
