Flying Nimbus with the Item Pickup Skill and vehicle speed boost, you can play as an item runner dropping off supplies from around the map to the STM site to prep for the defense. Then other support skills like Rare Boost and money based etc. to help get items.
Saw you jump over the lava with the dragon, pretty sure you probably know it given how much time you have on the game but just in case, vehicles are capable of going through lava without any issues.

The dismount prompt should be you holding the button down for like a second and a half so it'll never activate if your spamming to grab items
