The first time I heard pink venom...I didnot like it much, but somehow still the song managed to force me to listen the 2nd time. AND it grew on me...Now I cant stop listening to it. At first I thought it will be kind of Jisoo's song but definitely Lisa just grabbed the spotlight in this song from beginning till the end.
"Pink venom" is a new genre tried by blackpink, hiphop elements are strongly different from the previous strong swag: dddd ktl hylt ps. People who expect the chorus swag can't hide their loss, but if they don't ask for swag, they can enjoy this new music.
It's not hard hitting like their previous releases. It's more of a swag hip hop situation. Which honestly isn't bad and fits the instruments used well.
so am here giving my thoughts abt bp's pink venom. first of all, the verses. Jenlisa's parts SLAPS. especially the rap part. the swag and the flow? *chef's kiss! ALSO, MAIN RAPPER JENNIE IS FINALLY BACK! I'M SO HAPPY😭😭😭. now on the pre-chorus. idk, it felt "out of place"(?) Like the melody of it doesn't really suit the instrumental itself lol. moving on to the chorus, IT'S A FREAKING BOP. I like how it's calm and sexy. the anti-drop is so new! and I personally love this one! CHAESOO's bridge is a CHEF'S KISS! the power of their voice- AAAAAAAAAA. now to the last part, I FCKIN LOVE THAT. those ratata's giving me Jennie's rampapampam in KTL vibe (lol am I the only one?😭). Overall, I personally think this is a better description for a pre-release compared to HYLT. So, 9.5/10 for me (the melody in the pre-chorus can't really grow on me but let's just see lmao).
I can’t wait to see them perform pink venom cause it’s really amazing but I think chaesoo deserve more lines :/ but it’s such a bop like every blackpink mv they slay 🔥🔥

I’ve may have not fully woke up but I couldn’t fall asleep which kinda sucks :( but if we are talking about the M/V I would score it a 6/10.
