This has been a video I've been promising for a long time and it's about time I uploaded it. Sorry about the long wait. Originally I wanted to wait until I had WR to post a video on this game, but after a lot of thinking I decided to post this PB to show what I've been up to. I'm not too happy with the run itself, the end game was pretty poor, but I do have to let go of perfectionist side of me sometimes. I will continue to aim for WR and I'm excited to upload that video when it finally happens, but for now hopefully this will hold people over. Thanks for watching and waiting.

Hey everyone! I apologise for the long wait! This run has been a long time in the making as it is quite difficult. The biggest issue with this run is the heavy effect RNG has on the run being able to survive. Two major things come into play, one being Peddler selling cycles and the other being Monster HP rolls. While I truly think I have the skill to take WR, it's just a matter of the moon turning blue and the planets aligning. Let's hope it doesn't take too long.
For now, I hope you don't mind seeing a less optimal version of my run. If you enjoyed the run and the strats you saw, then please stick around cause the WR will be a piece of art.
There's stuff I have plans to work on this year, a video series I'm excited to make that isn't a speedrun. So if you're interested in that sort of thing then do Subscribe.
It won't take a year and a half for a new video... I promise

Rosi you are amazing just as ever! After watching your hotfix freedom unite run I hoped there's 3rd run and here it is. I was taking notes during this playthrough, though I'm not sure I'll be able to execute it all so smoothly because great hammer is just not my thing 😅
Anyway those Baggy detonations and Zinogre... Mega jerk behaviour. I'm amazed by how you were able to adapt to capture damage miscalculations (or was it all just as planned from the very beginning?)

MHP3rd was never released globally, so the half-translated patch is still your best bet. I think the ones left untouched were just the flavor texts anyway.

It depends on the game. If it's Freedom Unite then I like to use Longsword, however if it's World or Rise then I only ever use Switchaxe.
3U Greatsword is a pretty dang good too.
