@@KobraVR Not even close as dangerous ... filming it from a lower height does not make that little bike race more spectacular, nothing the MotoGP does not do every race ... The guy in this video was playing with his life - i bet a amazing rush, still simply a stupid hobby for anyone who is willing to live.
@@SURO90 As someone who has crashed his motorcycle before at highway speeds I would have to disagree. At 200mph no amount of protection will help. You're instantly dead if you crash.
This would be safer than wingsuit flying, also more accessible. But still quite dangerous.
There is not a single thing I can think of with a higher chance of dying, except maybe Russian roulette with multiple bullets at a time... Even some of the craziest rock climbing, ski/snowboarding/caving and cave diving/ and whitewater kayaking videos ever made still don't match this in terms of danger at any given second. Those corkscrews he was doing where he would spin 360 degrees while diving straight down, followed by pulling up to miss the ground by a few feet literally almost made me bite my tongue in half
I dont even treat video games like this guy treats real life. But no worries bro, in case anything happens just load the game from a previous checkpoint.

Christian, in a game, if you fail you can reload (restart). But in real life if you fail, there will be no reload or restart, because you're dead. Risky sports can have 95% chance of failure, 80% chance of being killed and 25% chance of making it alive.

@@brianstayton2595 He could be doing this for 5 lifes and still it would be stupid af. Especially with Speedflying at low height it does not even have to be your error just a simple change of wind flow and you are dead.

exactly what I was thinking. I'd say they were worn down to at least the knees. That first moment he gained a little distance from the ground to only do a loop. omfg. Then he repeated it other 2 times. I repeated omfg 2 more times too.
He's close, but the wide angle effect from the gopro makes it look even closer.

I met this guy at Celilo Park, Oregon yesterday, 8/5/2023, and talked to him a bit. Very nice guy and he said he and his girl had just gotten through speedflying at Leavenworth. He gave me his name. I told him I was a paratrooper, but only static line, nothing like this crazy stuff. Well done Jamie.
