Your card ratios compared to Lucas Sacco's seem more intact in terms of not bricking. I might give this a try, specially with Piri Reis Map. Deff would love to see deck combos!
I agree. Downside with beckoning beast is if you open both you cannot activate spirit gates because you don't have a legal search target, which is mandatory
I have learned and realized the power of the Princess, definitely agreeing it's amazing for the deck and I need to pick myself up a copy. Though I would trade Amblowhale for Duelittle Chimera, you lose 1 point of interaction with Amblo's grave effect *IF* your opponent blows up Princess, but if they don't you can't play/summon anything unless you can use Mature Chronicle to blow Princess up. But trading Amblo's interaction for Duelittle's ability to add Sharvara back to hand to pop Princess at anytime (during either main) to unlock you from Fires, so you could use Rage before or after you use Princess, but if you play Amblo or Sunlight Wolf you have to Rage before Princess or after your opponent outs it. Downside is that they can run over Duelittle or Sunlight Wolf, with Wolf being a little harder to run over but you need to wait a turn to Sharvara and Duelittle being a lot easier to run over and you can Sharvara anytime. I'm also glad to see someone else is playing Gryphon, having your 1 card combo end board be either Princess interactions or Gryphon's lock is very nice. Only downside for me is that I'm not going to spend the $120+ on 1 piece of cardboard with a Ninja on it, but silver lining by using Unicorn in SP's proxy is that if both Unicorn and Gryphon survive you'll draw 2 instead of 1 during draw phase to help rebuild that nothing hand because the Gryphon line and Unicorn's removal require discard fodder. I'm trying the good old method of "taking things out until it stop working" with 2 Spirit of Yubels and 2 Nightmare Pains, and I'm not noticing a big difference TBH. They're part of your combo line you want to search into, you can use them in different lines, opening Spirit let's you pop it in hand and get an extra body or just keep it as battle protection, the hard drawn Pain works if you draw Spirit or Yubel so you can still go into a Princess board. If Squirmer is your only dark then you just get Princess OR Rage. It's not bad to open both of them, but they're not starters on their own. Though my opinion is so weak that I can probably be switched back to playing 3-3 without much convincing, mainly with Spirit. I also saw someone play Set Rotation with Chicken Game to search Throne. If you open Chicken Game it's an Upstart Goblin. If you open Set Rotation with Throne/Terraforming, you can lock your opponent out of their field spells. If they activate their field spell, chain the set Set Rotation to remove their field spell so it can't resolve and reset yours, no new field spells that turn even if they have multiple unless they can pop Throne and Chicken Game, or wait another turn. 1 last thing. If you wanna be funny, put Thunder Dragon Dark;Hawk; and Colossus in your side board. And then if you play against a deck that dies to Colossus and/or are going first, side it in and take out a 1 of the Super Poly targets plus whatever you're going to side out for Dark/Hawk. Colossus an't good for the deck, but it can just out right kill some decks, or at least be a really funny card. And if you're like me, you won't brick with Dark/Hawk because I never see the cards I side in XP
I believe it's attacking with Amblo, then Varudras attack ef to pop Amblo, Amblo SS Princess, Varudras attack continues and then Princess attacks for game
Bro! This is a very unique list. Ima try it at a regional I’m going to, but I’m not going to play that “OTK Line” since I don’t know how that goes 😅 cool vid and good luck
Attacking with Amblo, then Varudras attack ef to pop Amblo, Amblo SS Princess, Varudras attack continues and then Princess attacks for game. Maybe there's another way too but that's how I think he's doing it if it's an empty board
Love it. Only disagree with the "underrated" statement at the beginning. Seems like a lot of people going for yubel since nightmare throne at 45 a copy
The Djinn Buster line is actually weak and forces you to use the effect of Spirit Gates early. Also it's very dependent on opening both throne and dark beckoning beast.
I am curious about the skill drain choice. Say you use it to interrupt your opponents combos or perhaps use it to help break the opponents board. Once you're done with it, how to do you out skilldrain so it doesnt hurt your plays, or are you able to kill the opponent with it still on the field? I get nightmare pain is still live, but your yubel monsters would die meaning they have a one-time use in battle.
Is it enogh tho? I mean they have to attack spirit, then yubel, then terror incarnate. But if they have enough small monsters, they can just attack everything until you are out of yubels. So its not an autowin button. But still looks cool, i might try on this weekend.
Yubels burn effect also applies after the damage step so usually they die before anything. If you skill drain on Spirit, you get 2 additional floats, and usually, that is more than enough to force game.
Can't wait for the combo video, congrats bro 🎉
Yes deck combos. Your ratios are sick broski.
Beautiful list 🎉
I played some of your list today as I’ve had bad luck with the deck and I really like the tech options.
I need that yubel video
Dark beckoning at 3 , gate at 2, after spirit of Yubel and nightmare throne come out is very crucial. It becomes the focal point of Yubel combos.

Make sure you subscribe to the channel. I'm gonna been posting a combo video soon.
I wanna see some matches vs competitive decks and some combos
Combo, combo, combo!
Cool list, would love to see an optimal Gryphon combo end board 🤔
I agree. Downside with beckoning beast is if you open both you cannot activate spirit gates because you don't have a legal search target, which is mandatory

I wasn’t sure on playing some of the techs you have listed but this list makes me more confident on those choices would love to see some combos
Love the tech choices in your extra deck! Would love to see this OTK line
Make sure you subscribe to the channel. I'm gonna been posting a combo video soon.

Subbed. Waiting for the combo
I would love to see your combos, i really love this deck
I will wait the combos,I'm not very convinced about the super poly
What do you think about prosperity in the Main ?
It's true, beast/gats is more of extender not starter. Only time gates is a starter is if you can SS Spirit in starting hand.
We need that video

Thanks man I appreciate the support. Try the list out and tell me what you think.
Also I'll be doing a combo video soon.

Where’s that combo video bro 😆😁
YOU DONT NEED TWO YUBEL!
Any reason not to run Djinn Buster to insulate against Nib? Feel like it's worth it with so many people running it in the mainboard.
The Djinn Buster line is actually weak and forces you to use the effect of Spirit Gates early. Also it's very dependent on opening both throne and dark beckoning beast.
How does the matchup with runick stun go?
To be honest I'm still unsure about that match up. I've dodged it at my last 3 tournaments.

Yubel still floats
Yubel + Nightmare pain is still lethal because they take the damage. So you can crash into big monsters and float into their higher forms and repeat
He outs it with chronicle. Chronicle says once you get 4 counters you can destroy a card on the field.
@@jeremymcgrath192 thank you
Details man, was this at locals over time?
Did you watch the video?
@@tradetables6850must have skipped that part.
@@don945646 lol all good. I went 13-0-1 in a total of 3 events
Basically if you open spirit gate beast a spirit or lotus you got combo simple logic
Why is skill drain good in this deck?
Because Nightmare Pain is Crack.
Is it enogh tho? I mean they have to attack spirit, then yubel, then terror incarnate. But if they have enough small monsters, they can just attack everything until you are out of yubels. So its not an autowin button. But still looks cool, i might try on this weekend.
