Actually the clock was coming up to 12.51am, because when it fades to black, the minute hand moves when the second hand ticks to full minute.

I think Bognor is on Talking Pictures TV these days. The "Sit up & Listen was poignant it took me by suprise" I not familiar with Sir Geoffrey Jackson 0 He was kidnapped for 8 months in 1971 according to Wikipedia.
