During my time in London there was nothing like these athletic, graceful , masters of the dance.These memories will always be present im my heart. Monte Da Murta.
This guy has it all. He does things that have never been seen before, with an artistry that comes along once in a hundred years! How lucky we are to be able to see him in his prime!
He must be the most technically brilliant dancer there ever was... Have been privileged to see Vasiliev live twice this year - Romeo and Juliet and Le Jeune Homme, both stunning.
What's going on here? This man is simply a ferociously good dancer! I would say he is more charismatic than Polunin, and such power...oh no way! One has to, by obligation, give him his props.

he does this kind of tour sometimes in don q variation as well... it's a tour that instead of staying in fifth all the time, it goes through first, second and almost fourth before going the knee :P he is the only one i've seen do it ^^
@matt8664 yes is umbelivle really ,as mr nocco says me too never saw before,ivan is going to became the next male superstar,needs to rafine a little ,but is soo young.in a couple of year will became one of the greatest of all times,with volodia vasiliev ,micha,and yuri soloviev,many tanks.
@UCLAprincess Well he is dating (or maybe engaged to) Natalia Osipova. In Russia, they wear wedding rings on there right hand though so what you see isn't one.
@znarf541 My thoughts exactly. The power and amplitude of Baryshnikov, without the refinement and line. It may have to do with Vasiliev’s proportions. He’s long-waisted and therefore appears shorter than Baryshnikov, even though they’re similar in height. Still, I dream of wrapping Vasiliev’s thighs around my body….did I just say that?
@dansertoujours It's just a tourdoble in cou de pied derriere to the knee in fact is not that hard(not easy tho) The menage with saut de basque raising but legs i guess is more difficult. (and keep going afterwards)

Ivan is my favourite, even if I admire a few others. Even after 9 years he is great. Maybe better.
I have filmed myself dancing but the camera seemed like it lagged or couldnt keep up with my choreographed moves!
