The Legend ...... I grew up watching Mr. Dance on TNN every Saturday morning. Made my childhood that much better. I can recognize that voice anywhere lol. Thanks for many years of good fishing shows and great memories. Me my brother and my best friend that lived a block away would all sit on the couch and watch together then we'd argue who was gonna catch the biggest fish next fishing trip lol. Good ole days.
Mr DANCE I got me a couple of those lures like you was fishing with I can't wait to try them out topwater tiny tornado. Purple crawfish thank you for sharing your knowledge with us
Like most fishermen, I have huge variety of lures - every size, shape, and color. I sometimes wonder if the fish look at the bizarre baits I use and think, "Look what this guy thinks we eat!"
Yes Bill, You do not need 20 pound line to catch big fish, the trick is playing the fish, I once caught a 14 pound fish on 4 lbs test line because I played the fish.
You can see your years of experience when that fish gets to the boat. You take your time, not in a hurry. Some of us younger guys get way to excited and lift him straight in the boat for fear we'll lose our catch! lol.
Rebel, there's a three pack to his left at 1:30 to give you an idea what the packaging looks like. I've only seen them in one or three pack, they may have a two pack I dunno. Hope this helps 🙏
I should have watched this before I went today. 4 hours and only 1 bass, and in step with this video, it was on the smallest Sluggo I had, the real tiny one.
I've asked before, but never saw a response...How/why does Bill choose whatever boat he's in in these videos? Whichever one happens to be easy to hook to the truck, lake he's going to fish is, or the boat the boat manufacturer wants to present for that show?

I remember seeing Bill Dance in magazines when I was a kid. Finally took up bass fishing 45 years later.
I feel like I can watch this guys videos all day
Thanks Bill! Caught a few on this cold day, finesse fishing!

Your videos helped me and partner win angles of the year so thanks a million
Bill's the only guy I watch for fishing usually.
Light line is a blast
The part about reeling while the fish is pulling drag just hit home with me. Makes total sense and I feel like I should have realized that.
Great info Bill’ I have always love The content that You produce.
An alternative title to this video would be “How to break bass jaws”
Just hearing that song takes me back to when i was a kid my brother, dad and i watched him every saturday mouning
Good stuff Bill! 👊🏼💯
Merry Christmas my friend! 🎄🎁
Honestly my favorite way to fish for bass, and the best way to teach younger kids how to let the fish run and work em in.
I'm the finesse king! I caught all my muskie on the finesse. Biggest being 39in. love you bill

Same here. This is a super underrated comment!!!
I swear I think the same
Awesome video Thankyou

Fishing in private pond does hurt either 😉
You are right, i caught a 45 lb fish on 10 pound line
@@trx20shooterlikky86 He pays peoples in scuba gear to put fish on his line also.
That’s got absolutely NOTHING to do with catching fish on light tackle.
@@TheRubenGalvan LMAO
Keep on teaching!!!
Damn Dance! You did it again.
You can see your years of experience when that fish gets to the boat. You take your time, not in a hurry. Some of us younger guys get way to excited and lift him straight in the boat for fear we'll lose our catch! lol.
Makes it look so easy.
Love that small crank Bill What brand is it may I ask??
The rebel bluegill, great bait. I changed the hooks (im never successful going barbless)
Done this before slo of fun guess great fishing
Its more fun to catch bass on pan fishing equipmet, an ultra light makes for a fun day bass fishing 🎣
You catch nice bass
14:27 "I got a whale!" 😂😂
Speck Rigs the best thing ever, have caught a lot of fish in all kinds of water. Try em you will be impressed.
I love bass fishing with light line and smaller reels. Feels like you're fighting a marlin but it's a whole lot cheaper 😅
Is this a privately owned lakes or pounds?
Bill,
How do you keep your fish on so well? Is it the hooks you use or your technique?
Technique he’s a TRUE master at his craft. He knows how to get the most outta his equipment.
I don't see a Dances Eel on that wall. I still have 2 of them. They work if a man knows how to fish
Wanting to know who makes the little finesse crank??????

@@kituwahband Thanks Finally somebody willing to reply lol
Team, can we get bill dance a fish net please!! Lol

Dang ! Can I come up and fish your farm pond ?
You and jimmy Houston and Roland Martin should a fishing contest of the older guys
faaak weed fishn is hard but damn that was a huge ass bass at 4:00 !
Good eat'n
good nuggets at 6:00
Bill, you could catch a lunker with a tooth pick & dental floss! Love ya man!
I've asked before, but never saw a response...How/why does Bill choose whatever boat he's in in these videos? Whichever one happens to be easy to hook to the truck, lake he's going to fish is, or the boat the boat manufacturer wants to present for that show?
All the above
What I would do to fish this pond
It looks like he's fishing in a private pond. I want to see this guy fish in a public lake!
Most of my wooden crank baits say “ this is a “finesse bait”. How can a 4 inch one ounce bait be finesse?
Bill I've been taking notice in what you've been showing us about jerkbaits and I've got the bug or should I say a case of rogue fever
i get it, if the big one arent biting, and ur after big one. but what if u downsize, and the small fish arent biting either.
Or in Bills case, just go to his private lake loaded with fish.
I found a spot at this lake, crystal clear water and you can watch at least 4 pounders trolling the banks lol they don’t want anything
(Largemouth) bass are the best freshwater sportfish, welcome differing opinions but to be honest how can u argue?
Bowfin are pretty darn fun!
Bet he could not do that on my home lake....
Damn straight, fish somewhere where fish are afraid to bite anything, oh yea bill how many classics you won?
Why?
When I see bass pro shop I see over priced gear
What fishing store or shop have you been to that ain’t over priced? Seriously though if you got one help a guy out.
