I still run my Kickstarter set from when the S Series first launched. They've been an absolute workhorse for me and have painted several armies and warbands. With the included soap they're lasting really well. The drybrush damping sponge is a game changer imho too. Lovely vid. Great info.

Nice, I'm enjoying them too. I agree the sponge was something I had never thought to use until I got the set.

I wish the 4-piece set came with a size 2 instead of the 000. I never use anything below the regular 0 but if I wanted to get a set of these I'd have to shill out for the 5-piece set just to get the brush I want. Especially on the Series M the 00 and 000 are just ludicrously small and somewhat useless. The other brushes, especially in Series S, have excellent fine tips which do detail work much better than the small M brushes.

You can get a Rosemary and Co Model Drybrush in the missing size, that's who makes AO brushes ^^

Yeah I would like a bit of customisation when you order the sets. I haven't tried out the 00 or 000 yet but by the time I do the follow up video I'll be able to give you my opinion on the smaller brushes.

I'm a huge fan of byron and his painting. However, I got 2 series s brushes which split really quite quickly. I'll stick with Rafael

Thats a shame to hear, I would reach out to them. They are usually really good about this kinda thing.

Brushes are very personal so what works for one might not work for another. Which brushes are your favourite?

      @@jwminiatures I am totally agree
My favs are Raphael but series 7 ( 1 and 2) remains in good condition longer(funny thing is that not all series 7 are exactly the same ,sometimes I bought one that's is not that good than the last one)
I have now some brushes of greenstuff ,looks fine but I haven't try them
And for the dry brush the ak's or army painters are good enough, the AO are so good for that but they are incredible expensive compared with the other ones.

You paid more than three times the price for some rebranded brushes.
Get them directly from Rosemary & Co next time (S = Series 33, M = Series 323). That will only set you back £20 for the same 5 brushes (size 2/1/0/00/000, and another £10 for the wooden box).
