i used to have an s3 and later a jaguar f type r awd and then an rs5. I gotta say the s3 sedan is the perfect car. Nice interior, enough space, fast enough, compact, it was just so versatile.
I agree. I've had the S3 sedan for 3 months and I think it's a great car at a fair price. I live in Poland and I made the most of my car allowance, half for private use and half for business use. In 2019, they introduced limits on the amount of a company car. Additionally, a tax on cars with a capacity of over 2 liters has been in force in Poland for several dozen years. It is 18.6%. I would love to have an Audi RS3 but with my configuration I would have to pay 50% more for the car. I couldn't depreciate this 50% in the company. Just knowing that I mostly pay tax based on engine capacity is very frustrating. Especially since we live in times when the C63 AMG has 2 liters and 680 HP, but in this case you do not have to pay the 18.6% excise tax. Either way, I'm glad I have the Audi S3 and I think it's a fantastic car
@@Sqrwix As you say also, it is great for both work and play. Its nice on the inside, yet it is respectable looking for work. Once I got the Jaguar which was circa 550hp and very immediate power with the supercharger I just found it to be too much for the street and it encouraged bad driving. RS3 sedan would be fantastic though. There is not much you cant do with 400hp.
I have to say, I’ve always been impressed with the capabilities of the RS3, but I’ve never been that impressed with its exterior design. It looked good, but not great. It was more like a normal looking sedan to me. BUT this 2024 design really makes it look A LOT better. To the point where it’s a car I’m going to keep an eye on for a future purchase.

@@gregoryneal2852 no. My local dealer sucks. They’ll try to not warranty anything any way the can. I’ll wait the 4 years. It’s Al ready quicker than most things light to light. I have an intake and an exhaust currently. That’ll all I will do for now. Plus the ECU still isn’t cracked on these
Sick ass video/comparison bro! Jewels out here uploading for ass videos as always. I always love all your Gti videos and now the Audi vids are coming in fire as will. That RS3 looks so sick too! Great video and honest reactions as always bro.
Had my RS3 just under a year. Has been brilliant. Got mine with the RS Dynamic pack, so has ceramic brakes and top speed to 180mph. Full carbon styling, including rear wing. Black optics and got the interior red styling option fitted myself by getting the parts from Audi. My car came with flat bottom steering wheel. I'm in the UK. Mine's the sportback in tango red. It pulls like a train and I've had a couple of S3 and Golf R pull up, my car just rips away. I'd say, spend the money and get the Daddy. Use mine daily and don't feel at all let down after driving my Cayman 718 GT4. In fact, it's the perfect garage for me right now.
Both are great cars and I think anyone would be very happy with either. If you have the extra funds for an RS3, I think it makes sense from a financial standpoint. The RS3 will always hold more resale value than an S3 in 10+ years. Could be a way to justify the extra cost.
Nice video as always. But price wise, the Premium Plus S3 (Which is the one to get at a minimum) is more like $56-$57k in Miami. And RS3 no chance for one less than $70k OTD pricing. Ive been trying for over a year now. As a daily, i think the S3 with mods makes more sense to be honest. Nice pick up on the whip.
yeah but the rs3 has the warranty and power w no mods + resale value + a ton of suspension and bvrakes stuff yoiu dont see. theres a reason these dominate tracks
Ay bro, my local Audi dealer just got a bright green 2024 RS3. Ive been seriously looking at trading in my 2020 A3(stage2 flex). Just how special does that rs3 feel in comparison to your S3. Interior is practically the same but does it have an extra prestiege road presents and driving feel behind the wheel? Thanks
Drivers seat feels about the same until you floor it or launch it. You do get a different gauge set up with G-meter info with the RS. As far as “presence” non-car ppl might think they’re the same car. I think a good exhaust system on the 5cyl will def give it a lottt more presence coming down the street / down shifts.
@@JewelCity1 Yea i already get the, "Is that an RS3!?" just cause my car is that Quantum Grey(Nardo). Lol and thats usually from the "car people". Hmmmm....
Bro I checked your yt this morning cus I was like “damn it’s been a min since jewel posted” and there wasn’t nothing and I was so sad 😭 now I jus got out of work and you dropped a fire vid 🔥
To honest i bought the S3 in Germany over the RS3 because you can spent the extra 10k on a fully Stage 2+ Upgrade DSG Tune with many Upgrades like downpipe exhaust cooler everything and my S3 now has 490 HP. I would prefer the S3 over the RS3 because also the insurance, repairs, Service over all and everthing is cheaper at the end. Its also really sad the side intakes on the RS3 are fake sadly(in germany) i dont inow if there is a difference on the US Version. If anyone wwant some Infos. Feel free to Msg me.
Only to add there is that you can also run this car on a stage 3 or 4 without Problems the Evo Gen 4 Engine in the S3 is a peak beast in compare to the models before. (MTM offers the Stage 3 and 4 Upgrades that gets up to 570 or more HP)
you vouded ur s3 warranty lol to get that power. us rs3 owners did not + its a much more exclusive club t with better resale and top notch audi performance parts (covered by warranty)
Haven’t seen many recent rs3 videos. Thank you for this amazing review!

very excited to see what you do to your new s3, havent seen much content of the new ones on YT ❤
Both a great card with so much potential. That RS3 though…man I want one!
Wow those new RS3's really put in work. So much more of an aggressive look than the previous gen. Could feel those digs from my screen lol
The sound is gone very sad
I LOVE my 24 RS3, coming from a full bolt on Golf R Mk7.5, no regrets. The only erk i had in this video is he kept putting in M mode when launching.

I like the spolier and front end of the S3 vs the RS3
I agree. It's more subtle but looks more appropriate for the cars proportions. I do like the wider fenders on the rs3 more though
Nice day out, great vid.
So my 18' rs3 launches best by releasing the brake as the rpms are climbing. So not building boost. Is it the same for the new rs3s?

I think it will be hard mod S3 to get faster than GTI from roll races.... It is too heavy. Maybe 250 kg diference extra
Pretty easy since the s3 has a larger turbo. The tuned GTIs around me don't seem to be an issue at all
the rs3 without the RS design package really looks bland ngl. Basically identical interior to the S3

still should come in a manual option
