The rusty lady slicing through those rough waves like they're butter. Not a beauty queen but a hard working girl. Beautiful lighting in this one....sunshine and shadows mix. P.S. Always love your introductory views as you walk toward the bridge. Also those views of the bridge from below were great
I was surprised to see her in Marquette. I do feel bad for her because she should be treated with more care and respect. Her smoke stacks look good lol Another great video. Thank you 😊
My grandpa got to see this ship and I am very jealous, Such a rare ship!!! I like seeing these other Lower Lakes Towing ships but I really hope the Michipicoten comes back, Thanks Jonathan!!!
Yeah I hope Michi comes back too! In the meantime it’s great seeing all the other variety of ships though, adds some excitement! Guess we’ll just have to see what happens. In the meantime I’m treasuring each time seeing the Pierson, because you never know if she’ll come back or return to her old pattern!
@@jerseywoods9994 lol the wind noise is reduced, in real life I could barely hear the horns at all over the wind. I wasn’t kidding around with that title, was getting blown around out there lol. As for reducing or getting rid of it, I really don’t want to do that. The whole point of why I post isn’t to create perfect cinema, it’s to allow viewers to experience as much as possible what it’s like to be at the canal, watching these ships. The wind and the noise it makes is very much a part of that experience. I am trying to find a better way of getting it to sound more natural and match what I’m hearing in real life, but that’s the extent of it. It can be incredibly loud on those piers!

Definitely an industrial ship for certain! The lighting was great! Glad you enjoyed it!

@@TOTALCAMARO yeah hopefully she gets some maintenance soon! Glad you enjoyed!
Beautiful video-great wave action today. Thanks for sharing.❤
There were some great waves!
Imagine you're a wave and have to bang against a concrete corner, while your neighbor is allowed to roll upon a sandy beach in perfect style ...
Go out with a splash or a roll? 🤔
Very nice views of this ship, and of the lake! I enjoyed the beginning views under/at the bridge. Thanks for posting this.
Glad you enjoyed!!

She could use some TLC, no doubt about it. Really beautiful piece. Seems the canal was a bit choppy that day. Impressive bow splashes. Loved it.
TLC required for sure but doesn’t change the absolutely gorgeous day!
Great video of the deep blue water and waves! The poor old gal's bones are showing but she keeps on working! 😊
Hard worked but still strong!
Her owners hate spending money on their fleet by the looks of these sad ladies
Yeah I’m hoping thry get some TLC over the winter but we’ll see
How many hands average a crew on a vessel this size?
Downright Nautical Departure
Certainly a fun one!
What a great video, thank you!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
the bashes scream paint..lol

Great footage Jonathan.... But please do something about the wind noise in your vids ....
