Okay but if you think about it, plants are basically living things- so its almost the same thing as eating animals
Plants are alive but they are not Sentient as far as we can tell... We know nonHuman Animals are Sentient and can suffer/feel pain as Human Animals can... Huge important difference if you're being honest... ;-)

@@RaceLever hey, i have read some research papers on it but the consensus at this point is that we can not definitively say whether plants can feel pain or not. A peer of mine did some research on it as well, there is no conclusive evidence on certainty of plants feeling or not feeling pain. I respect vegans, im not against veganism. I just believe in science,nature, and how the food chain works. An all vegan diet does not ensure all vital nutrients, they have to supplement. So the way I look at it, if youre not getting all your nourishment from a certain diet, then it is not naturally meant for you.

I've likely done more research on these thing already than either you or your peers will do in your entire lifetime so let me help you and them stop wasting your time with one simple truth , even if you were correct and there is something we are missing about plants (which is highly unlikely in regards to them being sentient) but even if they were sentient and even if they were highly intelligent and could speak they would tell you to go Vegan since Veganism harms far less plants and far less animals (including Human Animals)...
You and your peers seem to be missing the simple things too so you're not ready for any serious research yet it seems... For example you're missing the simple fact that you can feed from many plants without killing them and many without even harming them at all... If you eat a fruit or a nut from a tree the tree lives on and is fine...
Thanks for the respect but you don't understand the food chain or science well enough yet to respect it properly... On that "food chain" you're talking about Humans are Apes not lions or some other creature that actually needs to harm animals to devour them... Apes thrive predominantly on Vegan foods , they can get by in pinch and survive on other things cuz their bodies are amazing survival machines but still it's quite clear they thrive on Vegan foods...
Also Veganism isn't a diet (which is why there are many different Vegan "diets) nonVegan diets don't ensure all proper nutrients either and you have more dangers from the cons of it as well since it's not just a nutrient you got to worry about so you're case is weak so far and not based on actually reality or science...
Plus haven't you heard, Vegans are off the chain... ;-)
