I have not played X-wing since 2014 when Armada stole my heart but with the current state of play for that game I've been kind of looking at getting back into this. Is there a lot that I would need to do to convert from from 1.0 to 2.0
Sorry for the negative comment, but all amg titles look like a snooze fest to me, their take on the x-wing being the worst proponent of their design philosophy. From exciting dogefighting with agile and fast movement to coma inducing stationary 1 forward play. This is the first time in my life I got so upset after rules changes, and I used to laugh at people getting too personal with their beloved game systems. I was always on the dev side of things, but I gave 2.5 a fair shot, played 6 months of tournaments and while it was kinda fun at first, the last two tournaments I cut short and left before finishing because of the level of brokenness and frustration. I am transitioning to legion, since they kinda know what they are doing with this one, but I will never ever trust them fully.
This was great fun, thanks! I'd love to see more in-person X-Wing games.
