I had a whole hour long recorded lecture on NDT and I came out of it without any idea of what NDT actually is. It seemed like a pyramid scheme or something lol Your video actually made sense, so thank you!
My child has ADHD.. Is PND used to help .. do primitive reflexes fall under one of these? The movements you showed standing up with towel & brush - I think my son has difficulty.. He doesn't want to dry his hair or reach down & dry his body.. he's been going to OT for years.. it's been for 'writing' ie dysgraphia.. So mostly fine motor..PT at school idk what they're doing now.. I wish there was more help for parents near me.. thx so much for sharing your expertise I hope to hear back from u.
Hi. There is not much research on PNF and specifically primitive reflexes since these are reflexes seen at infancy. I know some children with ADHD may reflect primitive reflexes. PNF is used to support motor control/stretching so I'm sure there are techniques you can implement at home. In order to help you and answer your question better I would need more information.
