Battersea Power Station re opened in 2022 as a mall, and it's quite the experience... let's shop together! Ps, I know it’s a shopping centre, mall fits better in the title lol!!

Perhaps his wife was on patrol last night protecting the streets of London? I had read she studied , took the test and became a policewoman 👮🏼and loves it! As someone who grew up in the 1970's and 1980's, shopping malls are one of my favorite places. I love to see the malls in different countries. I enjoyed seeing the inside of the Battersea Power Station. It looks amazing.
I was a kid just on the tail-end of the of shopping mall concert tour era - Tiffany, New Kids on the Block...seems like such an odd concept now, but every pre-teen and their friends were there 😄
Same. I remember going to the nearest giant mall with friends in the 80s and it was a treat to get something to eat there or going on a weekend with my parents...do some window-shopping. This video was comforting in a way.

I lived just up the road from the power station when it was still working, in the late 50s and 60s, it dominated the whole area. i went with my wife a few weeks ago and was, i must admit, very emotional when i walked in. it would have been a terrible shame if it were to have been demolished, it is the biggest brick built building in Europe, what they have done to the place is amazing.

Hi Hannah, when my dad was a young man he helped to build one of the chimneys, he said when the air raid sirens went off the older men would just go over the sides and be brewing a cup of tea in the shelter by the time he got down.

Not really thriving in UK either, high streets are dying lost so many good shops . Seems the expensive shops are still going but fewer middle range ones are around
I love the history of the place so I'm very pleased they kept some of the original features.

Oh my! I probably would have made a total fool of myself over Rod Stewart. Loving the new jacket; is it me, or is that flowered pattern a different look for you? Seeing you in overcoats all the time, it’s hard to know what you ‘usually’ wear. Very interesting shopping center-I agree that it seems sort of ‘cold’ in terms of atmosphere. I love the ‘hanging out’ vibe in these videos, and I do appreciate your efforts to not make us dizzy. PS-the weather isn’t much better here on the East Coast of the US either-rainy here again today. Love it! Rod Stewart, no entourage, browsing the rails, whistling to himself (was it one of his hits, I wonder?), too cool! He's always a snappy dresser and I'm surprised he shops for himself. The mall has too much of the industrial power station-feel for my liking, but it's a nice re-purposing of the plant, and it's HUGE! Can't believe a whole bar of just champagne (my kind of watering hole). Your new camera's doing well and your battery didn't die. You're a shopping marathoner (I'm an arm chair, on-line shopper myself). Thanks, Hannah.

I never tried Nando’s when I was in London last. I seem to remember a Nando’s near Klink Street, or near the Golden Hind. Now I’m glad I didn’t!
I think London has the very best architecture of any city in the world! The Power Station certainly lives up to that ideal! You are a lucky girl to live in London!

I'm curious what prices used to be because except for tea services, all of the food prices are comparable to Camden, SC, and we aren't metropolitan at all. I adore your videos. I don't get to go shopping with friends anymore and shopping with you is great fun!

Battersea Power Station is on our “to do” list this summer, getting the Uber boat from Barking and travelling along the Thames. We are really looking forward to it now after watching this vlog ❤️ the Rod Stewart cameo was hilarious 😂
This is one of the places I'd never go to so I'm glad you made a video so I can see it anyway 😁 You know what? I think that wedgewood blue on white mini dress looked amazing on you. You could've worn it with light denim jeans. Please, don't say you're too old for something. Style is not about age! When you browse those fashion shops I shout: "Hannah, that dress! Loved it, Rod was a treat, but just loved the whole shopping experience! When assistants are ignoring you , indifferent, or over bearing I WALK OUT.Never waste your time! Go to a store that cares about customer service.

I love that Battersea Power Station has been renovated and is now open to the public, but it could have been something much more cool and fun than a shopping centre; a sports centre, music venue, theatre, gallery etc. I like your new jacket. I don't live in London now, but the car boot sales in Battersea and Pimilico are good for clothes shopping and a fraction of the price. You have got great skin and don't need make up. x

It's very similar to Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, which was a Sears distribution center before it reopened as a mall.
