Loose Ends was a band way ahead of its time. Carl is a genius! Their song writing was impeccable! The tracks were enchanting! Now, laying those lyrics over those tracks created music that touched you in a way that words can not explain. Listen to “Stay a Little While, (Child)! “Must we let our future, roll on ice? Well, shake the dice.
Stay a little while child is my favourite song I also like you can't stop the rain, mr bactular and life those songs create a feeling inside that can't be anymore satisfying
Greatest Group Ever. There Songs and Melodies are Beyond Incredible💫 Hanging On A String Remote Control Don’t You Ever Try You Can’t Stop The Rain Look How Long Nights Of Pleasure Music Makes Me Higher I can go on and on. Loose Ends was my Childhood Theme Music growing up on a Military Installation in Alaska 😉. Salute 🫡 To Them✨✅
Carl McIntosh is simply the man! Great interview with one of my favorite musician Brotha's. I love all of "Loose Ends" album$ period! "musik doc" Phx Az 2022 💯⚘⚘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
My sister met Carl McIntosh many years ago, I was so jealous, there was even a picture of them. I'm from Hackney myself. Shame they split up back then.
I am a 50 year old from Virginia United States... And I was a giddy silly teen when your band was popular here and lately when leafing through UTube I found your videos and WOW what a sound still!!! Nice to see you are well and happy in spite of growing old... Your interview is very comforting... Reasoning? I am not a musician not even a Math ician... But because of the fact that I have a few medical issues.. live alone and the coronavirus have everyone isolated, your video is comforting... And it was good to hear that you are West Indies related... I have a section heritage... Take Care
Carl Mackintosh is a legend this he carried Loose Ends somebody mentioned his last Loose Ends album was basically his solo album and he's right! Don't you ever try to change me was fire! I hope Carl continues to make music
Carl McIntosh to me in my personal opinion Carl McIntosh has done the best interview out of everyone on your show I have to say that Carl McIntosh of loose ends is incredible he tells an amazing story etailz The Good The Bad and The Ugly how can Carl McIntosh Loose Ends well I'm the best interview by far
Terry from Los Angeles California Carl McIntosh of loose ends the best interview ever on your show by far he tells The Good The Bad and The Ugly amazing interview
Loose Ends and Carl McIntosh are some of my favorite musicians, but I don't understand why he's still hanging onto the name. The last LE album was basically his solo album. Carl is a beast.. please don't make us wait any longer for a Carl McIntosh album its been 30 years already!!
Loose Ends is a Vibe, an aesthetic, and a brand. The name Loose Ends communicates a lifestyle. The brand and Logo gets Carl into way more doors and onto way more stations and even today would sell 10 times the downloads and units than he or any of the other band members would solo. People would enjoy the material, but the thing that makes people look is that brand that we are also connected to, and have been for almost four decades.
Omg, when Carl was dancing in that slow down video,..he created a whole another cool! He was rockin it he knew that beat was like whoa...their beat initially caught me , but when I listened to the words, .."...."is this the part baby?!, ......, then the horns ,...crazy nice ! In luv wi t LOOSE ends
Thank you. I do a featured artist of the week on my show. Tonight was Loose Ends. I posted your interview with Carl McIntosh. Thank you. You did a great job. One of my favorite bands of all times. Metro Musiq Lounge on fb is a social distancing option for people who like soulful house, deep house, nujazz, neo soul and old school r&b. I use you tube links since most of the demographic can access it easier than sound cloud and others. So thank you for posting.
I Love All Of Loose Ends Songs And Albums, I Truly Do....But Mannnnnnnnnn The Smooth, Pure, Sensual & Deep Sounds Of Love Controversy Pt.1 From The 1990's Album "Look How Long" Will Do Something To Ya Everytime....Real Talk!!!! - #ISaluteYouCarlMcIntosh
I still have yet to hear anyone talk about the comparison and contrast between Loose Ends "Contemplating" and SOS bands "No One's Gonna Love You" with the use of the 808 similar drum patterns
It is odd, isn't it? According to Carl (in his Red Bull Music Academy interview) and Jane (in a radio interview), the drums in "Hanging On A String (Contemplating)" were taken directly from "No One's Gonna Love You".
GOD Almighty gave Carl a gift. From playing different instruments, to singing, and most definitely his funky dancing. I love to watch him dance.
He kills me with his moves on hanging on a string, love they style.
