I'm working on helping my parents in the house organizing closets, etc.I need to get containers to put my mom's extra stuff, memorabilia, etc. I think it will improve it a lot

Great job!! It’s hard to let go of stuff. I retired four years ago and moved to another state. I took that opportunity to purge my home instead of moving it with me. Now, I try to maintain it. I’m currently purging my home too.
It feels good once it’s done but never easy lol

OMG yes I recently gained weight and it'll be a few more months until I can try to lose it and that's if my chronic pain gets resolved. I'm sad becasuse Im having to buy new loose clothes I dont even feel good in but I don't want to get rid of my crop tops jeans and other peices but i am out of closet space! hence why I'm here :)
Definitely hang on to some of the pieces but it's ok to get rid of them too if they are just making you upset :)

Hi, Lauren! I hang all my favourite sweatshirts, so they are always so.. kinda "airy" and seem like ive just ironed them. And I don't hang tank tops and crop tees, i lay them into small plastic bins and then put the bins onto the shelves.. So, may be trading zones could help you (your tops > to the upper shelf and sweatshirts > to the hanging zone). ❤

Awesome job! It can be difficult for some people to go through and declutter items (my husband is absolutely one of those people ~~ he holds onto everything) and be completely honest in their assessment of what they actually need to keep. I am the complete opposite and declutter stuff from our apartment regularly because living in an 892 square foot space does not afford me the luxury or ability to hold onto and store items that I do not need or use on a daily (or at least regular) basis. Right now I am on the whole "messy to minimal" bandwagon. Thankfully a lot of the nicer items that I decide to get rid of are things that my older sister wants which makes me feel less guilty about getting rid of good quality pieces.

I have never tried Shein, maybe I'll start with some summer dresses now.. thats a great point to organize by "type" and not just color! Loving how this turned out, I mean I agree keeping the sweaters easy to grab is more important lol hope you are feeling great and enjoying summer!
