It always helps to be ready on ff4 whenever you're about to hit f2. Sort of anticipate it. If you even plan on hitting f2 within the next few seconds, try to cement in your head that you'll hit ff4 afterwards. Regardless of whether or not it hits, or counter hits, think "ff4" in advance. Hope this helps!
