I loved so many things about this episode: 1.book club, 2.manifesting- it’s right we always forget about things in our head and float somewhere so write down, write down, 3. vision board
Love the pod! Keep it up! Sleep tips: Schedule in 30-60 minutes of relaxation time at least 8 hours before bed. Meditate, read, nap, listen to music, whatever helps you decompres Matthew Walker (UC Berkley Neuroscience professor) is big on these 5: -Consistency/timing. Goto bed and wake up at the same time every night. Jean, you've already figured out your chrono-type (the time you get tired) which is great. Also consider establishing a relaxing wind-down routine. I like taking a hot bath, then stretching, then reading. -Light exposure - During the day, get direct sunlight as early as possible and try to get 20+ minutes total per day. At night, turn the lights off as early as possible. You guys already mentioned blue light exposure. Ideally, your room is as close to PITCH BLACK as possible when you sleep. -Exercise, not too close to bedtime -Caffeine/Alcohol. This is a tough one. Caffeine has a half-life of 5-6 hours, so if you have a cup of coffee at 2pm, and you go to bed at 1:30 AM, 1/4 of that coffee is still in your system. And even you don't feel the caffeine at that point, it will still reduce the amount of REM sleep you get. Alcohol basically does the same thing. I'm not advocating becoming a hardcore straight-edge (though I respect that choice), just be aware that when you go for drinks, or have coffee/tea mid-day, your sleep wont be as good that night. -Temperature: we sleep best in 65-68 degrees F. If I'm not tired close to bedtime, I'll read, listening to binaural beats (in stereo). Hot baths are great too 2 hours before bed. I also feel like the supplements Apigenin and L-Theanine help me relax.
Thank you!! I’ve been meaning to institute the scheduled relaxation time with NO PHONE before bed for a while, I’m going to try implementing these tips 🙏🙏🙏
It was a nice one tiger sisters!! Thanks for sharing your vision boards and details, though would have been great if you had talked at length about your vision boards what it looked like specifically before going to business school and have you ever had anything related to that on your respective boards?

Yes, do it!! I’ve also seen podcast clubs pop up. If you don’t find an existing club you could always start one with a friend 😎
