I hardly ever comment but your video brought tears to my eyes. One reason is because I am Salvadoran and I cannot visit as often as I wish I could. Second you said something so powerful at minute 4:06.... Its so true. I came to the US in 1981 and I wish I could say the same but I cannot however don't get me wrong I met a lot of people here in the USA that were and always will be in my memory for being so welcoming and caring. This video reminds me of just how beautiful my heritage homeland is. My family is from El Salvador and emigrated to the States many years ago. I lived in San Miguel for about 5 years as a child. And I loved every moment of it. The country is portrayed as such a hostile place, with nothing but strife, but we are so much more than that. We are a small, humble, and vibrant nation. Nature rules above all else here. The people carr for it. And you showed what it truly means to be a Salvadorean. I thank you so very much for showing others this story of beautiful joy and happiness.

I have been visiting El Salvador since 2006, and I still have a lot to learn about my parent's homeland. Seeing all those lovely people there makes me proud of my roots. I always look forward to seeing my entire family, especially my Nephew and Niece. Even tho my Spanish isn't very fluent, I still manage to be able to speak to my family and other people.
Yup! El Salvador is such amazing place to live or visit although the "bad" things that are currently happening such as violence and corruption but the people are like no other ethnicity... humble and caring. I'm currently living in Spain and had lived in Brazil too but EL SALVADOR is my favorite place because of the amazing people and the beautiful places they have such as lakes , mountains , volcanoes, so many things. Sharing with the elder and kids is like food to the soul! You never stop learning from these people, because of the smile they carry even when they have no brand clothes and aren't fully loaded with material stuff besides they have to work really hard all day long to have food on their dinner table. I'm salvadoreña and I'm super proud of it!

Hi. My name is Jorge and really like your video Sabrina. Wow, 36k views nice! I came back from El Salvador a few weeks ago and I am excited as you are. I was born there but immigrated to Toronto, Canada 25 years ago. The best thing I was able to experience was the diversity of wild life and plants. Orchids were the best, I even saw black orchids. I wish the government could do more about the carbon emissions by heavy trucks and buses. I want to do something for the people there and hopefully all my plans and goals work as well. Learning Spanish isn't so hard. Give it a try...lol Thanks and I hope u travel back there soon.

What i really hate is that you did not have a translator...I lived in the U.S From 1988 till 2010 and the one thing i miss about america is talking in English..We apreciate your generosity toward the most needed and your heart.. Hi. My name is Jorge and really like your video Sabrina. Wow, 36k views nice! I came back from El Salvador a few weeks ago and I am excited as you are. I was born there but immigrated to Toronto, Canada 25 years ago. The best thing I was able to experience was the diversity of wild life and plants. Orchids were the best, I even saw black orchids. I wish the government could do more about the carbon emissions by heavy trucks and buses. I want to do something for the people there and hopefully all my plans and goals work as well. Learning Spanish isn't so hard. Give it a try...lol Thanks and I hope u travel back there soon.
