My mother and father were sheriff and a cop. I trained hundreds of cops when I was in the military. Some of those cops should have never been in law enforcement. I agree. As a paramedic I’ve worked many of the same calls with law enforcement. And worked with paramedics who are also police officers.
I would add this to your observation. It’s often the bad culture of the police department (or EMS service), and the terrible nature of certain coworkers, that creates much more of the turmoil, than the actual work.

@@dadofducks As an employed COP you can quit or should be fired, in the Military you have years to serve unless you can get tossed out and that is pretty hard to do without getting locked up instead of a DD (dishonorable discharge). So not really a good argument. I know someone that went in and got out. When he went in he would give the shirt off his back to help someone, when he got out the Marines screwed up his head and 8 divorces later he killed himself. This is a similar issue that happens in every branch, but they target people like my friend that is a caring person to harden them up as trained killers then fail to deprogram them before release. He was an honorable discharge but I am sure the same case is for DD soliders.

These people could have went into any other industry and potentially lead a more peaceful and less dangerous lifestyle. But they did not, all in the name to protect the paths of others sacrificing their time, they are the reason why your A-List celebrities are able to become your idols, they are the reason why you have others to look up too, they are practically the reason why you have dreams.
It goes without saying that there would be cops which join the industry for their own gain but it also can’t go without knowing that it was still time used up to protect a community, the time they gave so that you can live another day.

I attend a church where our Pastor loves policeman and they give policeman appreciation dinners and breakfast all the time. I would love to see more of them in church and more saved, especially nowadays when they are killing policeman, no respects for those in authority. I get sad.🙏🕊🙏they need prayers. You know what people don’t realize and it has to do with the stigma. News agencies and the medias love to report police misconduct. While iam all for exposing corruption, police misconduct, and abusing their authority.
what people don’t realize is for every negative incident that happens there are multiple officers upholding the law and doing their jobs on a daily basis but that’s rarely put out in the media. It’s not exciting to viewers when police do their ordinary duties which is why the view of police is bad.
For you guys are so blinded by hatred against law enforcement they forget that are good officers.
The news agency and media would much rather news of police misconduct as a story as opposed to actual law enforcement. For thos ppl I hope their house get robbed and just a friendly reminder don’t ask police for help

All the children who have to grow up without a parent because a bunch of heavily armed thugs felt their lives were "threatened" by a single individual with their hands cuffed behind them offering little to no actual resistance, all the mothers who have had to bury their children because some trigger happy bigot figured it was ok to empty a mag into their backs while they were trying to run away then falsely report that they had a gun and were pointing it at them, all the people who were basically robbed of their money and property simply because the department needed the money is why I not only have utterly no sympathy for them but I hope they suffered before they decided to take a gun and do the world a favor for once in their sorry lives

"In our interconnected world, the notion of equality must extend to all aspects of life, including access to essential resources like home loans. Discrimination based on race not only perpetuates social injustice but can also have far-reaching consequences, resonating beyond human interactions. When individuals are denied opportunities simply because of their race, it creates a ripple effect that disrupts the delicate balance of our shared environment. The prevalence of natural disasters such as tornadoes, earthquakes, cyclones, and the spread of disease may serve as stark reminders of the interconnectedness of all living beings and systems. By fostering inclusivity and fairness in our societies, we not only uphold fundamental human rights but also contribute to a more harmonious coexistence with the world around us. Let us strive for a future where every individual is treated with dignity and respect, where opportunities are accessible to all, and where the fabric of our society is woven from threads of equality and compassion."
This statement aims to convey a deep reflection on the interconnectedness of social injustices, environmental issues, and the importance of promoting equality and inclusivity in our interactions and systems.😢
