Adblock Plus, I've been using it for a few years - immersion is important and ads are far too intrusive on my life. I don't even watch TV because ads are like 60% of what you see, sometimes 70%.
Yeah I agree, though I'd rather put up with the ads instead of using adblock so Daughter gets a little ad revenue :)

Daughter always makes me feel so at peace even when the lyrics are sad. Just the melody is always very relaxing let alone the voice production and everything else.

I was lucky enough to see Daughter perform in Indianapolis last night - recordings don't do the music justice! Live - the music is so big, so epic that you feel each beat thrum in your bones and then add in Elena's ethereal voice floating over the top and the experience is like none other. This band deserves all the support fans can drum up because it was an amazing experience.
Its been years since ive last listened to this song...always trying to keep away bc i knew what emotions it would trigger...and here i am drowning in them at this very moment gosh i dont know if its good or bad...kind of nostalgic

Their album "If You Leave" is right up there with the 1st 3 Coldplay albums yet it only reached no 16 in the UK album charts. How underrated is that.
When I bought her album on iTunes, yes I bought it because Daughter deserves every penny towards her album, I had this unexplainable excitement, similar to going to a concert and having the headlining artist coming out to perform. I love her, I love her music, and I hope she doesn't change ever because it would be a shame to lose this talent to the demands of record companies and radio.

As my own, similarly, though I laugh, despite everything being human: the human response to tragedy is what? Crying is common issue. Is crying vain? For it responds to tragedy, which by definition has no correctable redress for loss of some esteemed ever hereafter extinguished source. One cannot help but continue in time, which as sense comes paradoxically with conflicting sense of arrest as cognized with tragic loss of something subjectively essential, creating an absurd situation. Continuing through time subsequent tragedy is the epitome of absurd. And we cry? Is this vain? But what is crying? Well said, i think in 2 short words what you said could be described as "fuck people" . Existentialism is a powerful feeling many do nnot possess or even know exists. i think a good quote for what you've said would be : “There is something infantile in the presumption that somebody else has a responsibility to give your life meaning and point… The truly adult view, by contrast, is that our life is as meaningful, as full and as wonderful as we choose to make it.”
Well eyes are usually used to take in light, and one might consider crying to be completely vain, however it does have the practical side of lubricating and humidificating ur eyes, that's why u cry if u leave ur eyes open, for too long( i mean not blinking). But is crying when we are sad and just suffered a tragedy really something practical? Are our eyes really dry, and is the profusion of tears, water and grease, really going to help us face, the situation, see it better, in a new light? Just some thoughts :)
