Thank you for sticking up for billionaires and corporate interests. It's brave heroes like Joseph Merritt that stick it to the work force making peanuts for being greedy and shows the true victims are the CEO's. According to Joseph Merritt it's billionaires like Howard Schultz that are the victims. How dare libtards want to give more power to workers. LOL, you should be ashamed of yourself. You are an enemy of the working class AND the working poor, which is what a starbucks worker is. F you Joseph Merritt, you are a D-bag that hates American labor and loves corporate greed.
I would also like to add that Schultz isn't a supporter of the democratic party because of labor laws, he's a supporter of them because the republican party is the party of racism, bigotry, hate, intolerance, homophobia, anti women's rights, anti science, anti education, anti books etc and many other social reasons. He's a social liberal, but a conservative on labor and economic issues.

Sorry, Howard Schultz is absolutly correct on all counts. #1 - An employment contract or any contract with anyone is based on the entire contract not just on one or several portions of the contract. Example: When I sell my home the actual selling price is based on the entirety of the contract. #2 - Meetings and how they will be held, totally reasonable to have all parties wanting to partisipate in the union contract should be in the same room without ZOOM or other telecommunications seems totally reasonable. The fact the Starbucks made this a condition of meetings and the union representative consistantly vilolated that condition is not the fault of Starbucks or it's management. Starbucks has made it clear that meetings must be accomplished face to face without outside interference of someone over a teleconference media. Since Starbucks has been consistant and has shown up everytime ready to talk and the union has not for almost a year, it's the union membership that should find new representation. Finally, I think Berney was wrong to cutoff a witness, unless he cutoff every witness in every hearing.

The political agenda of the Democrats on the committee sickens most Americans. When union members cannot bother to show up in person to negotiate, it's not a management problem. When the employees were told tales by the union organizers only to learn later that the reality is different is not management's problem. CEO Howard Schultz has been a Democrat supporter. I wonder if he regrets his decision?
he does now that they arnt helping him out lol. thats why you cant trust the Democratic cult anymore. they lie and cheat and when they no longer have use for their constituents they throw them to the side and move to the next "crisis". its not a new playbook, people just dont have balls anymore and arnt willing to really get rid of these clowns

Howard Schultz is another anti labor thug that has the support of Joseph Merritt and every republican legislature and quite a bit of democratic lawmakers. It's because of Joseph Merritt and Howard Schultz that workers income for labor in this country has gone down since the era of reagan and his trickle down, union busting, outsourcing bullshit reaganomic policies.
