Are you still doing necchi machines? I have my grandmothers bu nova. She took it in about 20 years ago to a shop and the guy said he couldn’t fix it at all. She was so disappointed. It’s such a pretty machine and I would love to use it. I’m in Alabama. Would mail it to you if you could restore it. And of course pay you! I also was just given a working kenmore 148.11140. A friends mom worked in an industrial sewing place and was given it. He said it sewed heavy duty fabric.
Have a green BU Nova. Would love to restore it to its glory. Wifes moms. Still have original bill. Works needs a cleaning and somework. No light and has a retrofited motor. Would love to get it to you if you still do retorations.
Can you tell me where I can find replacement hinge mount the machine to the table? I have the ones with the two holes and I cannot find replacements anywhere. They broke when the machine leaned over too far. Thanks
Hi Rhonda. I'm not aware if whether anyone makes these as new reproductions, but there may be a decent chance of finding them used. Try Bonanza.com, Etsy, Ebay.
No, it uses needles for Domestic machines only. What you might have heard me mention is that the PRESSER FEET are High Shank and these are very common to Industrial machines. But the needles are not industrial compatible.
+Tanya Townsend Hello Tanya. What city do you live in? If you are close by, I would be happy to show you any machines I currently have available. I only sell locally. Thank you
+Tanya Townsend Tanya, I really appreciate your interest in the machines I restore. Unfortunately,, we are in NC and only sell locally as we don't ship sewing machines. They are too easily damaged by carriers. Try searching in your area of the country and find someone who restores these machines similar to what I do. There are other people who enjoy this hobby the way I do and I'm sure they could help you. Good luck
Just a side note: your top thread tension is off. We can see the pink on the reverse side. Secondo: maybe you could fix your sleeves hem? Lol Nice machine tho.
You have a great eye for noticing that!! Thanks for point this out. The machine was tested again before being sold which is a process I always use to ensure the machine is ready prior to selling. I believe I may have been in a hurry to get my video made before it got too dark outside since I really enjoy natural light for video work.

What type of needle do you use for that machine? You said it works like industrial machine right? Can it use needles for industrial machines?
