    ONE THING TO CLEAR UP : The panel flew off cause one of the struts broke and some of the rivots failed. It didn’t fly off because of contact with the wall.

    You are a great force on the track. My brother at Chico in the 60’s had the right side of the wing drop from the front. The ox he was grabbed the side ripped it loose and through it over the car into the in field. That was when the sides were made of plywood and wrapped with aluminum. Get all your lumps out and win the next one. Again thank you for your channel.

    One of the things that makes great drivers better then the rest is the fact that they are never satisfied. They always want more, try harder, that kind of thing. And you're good about that, however, NOBODY is perfect every time that climb in the car. Don't be so hard on yourself. Hell, you're only 18!!! I have NO DOUBT that one day, your name will be mentioned with the greats. You've got the heart, the desire to find something to be a little better, but it's ok to be off, whether it be set-up, tires, or you just have an off night. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP, BUDDY!! One day, you're going to roll in the track, and the guys in the pits are going to think "Oh hell, Tanner's here!!" Good job, buddy. Keep doing what you do!!!!

    It seems like....
    Tracks in the Mid-Atlantic (Pennsylvania especially) are rough on the engines because of the size of the tracks. There's 7 half- miles that I know of in the Mid-Atlantic
    Whereas California is rough on the cars because the tracks are more rough than any other state. The sizes are perfect, don't get me wrong, but again, the tracks seem more rough vs other states.
    The Midwest is perfect for sprint car racing because the tracks aren't rough, but the common length of a track is a 3/8ths mile. Which, I feel like is a perfect size for a dirt track.

It's a lot of work but every time this happens that is what you got to do ..I always ran a 3" steel .....What a bummer ,looking petty good also.............

    T love the music ... You wereflyin ... Till the wing you lost caused that slight drift in car placement out of 4 that is why you hit ... Other than that and your non agressive fearless courage missing from the fortold rut there..... I was watching Sean and you .. that must have given you a real ego boost cause u were very fast and if not for the aborted qualifying attempt that first night you got some really good laps in and experience at the track... It was only fair I thought you also raced the second night but I would have liked to have seen Carly have a night there too.... She is much more fearless than you and I bet would have handled that rut perfectly cause she is not scared of the wall and is a natural at it more than you ........ Remember her first time in one at cottage Grove and boy can she drive a car much better than haily deeagan I would say .... She kicks out the rear just like the best do with years of experience.... What a kicker outer can't wait to see her race red bluff again... And see you win another championship tanner... Like you both t but am blown away how good Carly is . You gotta remember her starting first in her very first race and leading everybody for a good ⁶ laps ... And wasn't Cris bell there that night too .... What a big big time that was for her I can imagine.... Ok gotta go good luck and keep on racing . You ² are so much fun to watch ... Be careful ... Good thinking t about not risking your car ... I thought if I was you I'd have done the same that was guite an eye opener on the danger of racing such a car..I could feel you in there at that moment feel kinda trapped by how you froze up and I too thought you were ready to be launched .... CArly came to your rescue pretty fast ... What a sis.... Stay cool tanner anybody tell you you would make a good salesman .. you a😄

      @@TannerHolmes Military Fun? Maybe for Forrest Gump. I'm joking. You showed notable improvement this year. Especially @ Lakeside. Seriously, next year is critical if you see this as a possible profession. Eat drink sleep stink sprint cars over winter. Get ripped mentally & physically. Weight lifting alone makes you more aggressive. If not, if just a hobby, then play video games and enjoy the winter.. Ryan Timms turns 16 next year.

    • @strumbum946
      @strumbum946 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@raymond3803 - Yeah, I agree Tanner really needs to get a serious “racing plan” together this Winter before next years racing season begins if he wants to become a professional race car driver. Personally, it seems to me that going back and forth from the 360 at one track/event, then a 410 at a different track/event like this Summer would be nothing but confusing, unless it’s just all for fun.
      I believe if Tanner was running full-time with a Series like LUCAS OIL ASCA or something similar, it would be more beneficial for learning than running different cars/tracks all over the Country. JMO
      And yeah, Ryan Timms just turned 15 in late August. He definitely has a bright future ahead of him…

    • @raymond3803
      @raymond3803 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@strumbum946 Yep! Joining a traveling circus series would benefit Tanner. They've got the toter-home. They need an engine builder closer to home. Shark engines based in Washington maybe? Salina engines blow my mind. New all-aluminum all-pro CNC outlaw 410 - $43,500. New cast iron ASCS 360 - $60,000.
      Or Tanner needs to retire in order to promote Carli's career. It's not fair, but clam drivers don't have to be great, nor good, they just have to *BE.* Danican't & Milka-Duno-Wrong both proved that. Clam merchandise is a cash cow that fell into a gold mine. A currency mint @ the bottom of a bottomless pit.
