Wya girl… I’m starting my loc journey for the 3rd and final time and I’ve really enjoyed watching your journey, especially because we have the same hair texture. ❤
Personally I don't like anything on me dirty. Cracked up...loved this! My sentiments exactly 🤣❤ . Ugly stage 💯. Love myself just not feeling the hair. New sub. Love the authentic loc realness
Enjoyed the video. I use a wig cap on my head when I had my starter locs and just wash my locs with the wig cap on and keep it on until I’m done conditioning. I did that maybe for the first 2 months or so
I am so glad you touched on the running marathon training. I live in Canada so I will not be doing the Chicago marathon but that is my goal for next year is to run a marathon. Please fill us in on start dates to your training and hopefully, we can enjoy the journey together. It's so nice to see black women running. On another note, I just started my locs on the 22nd of October. It will be fun to see how all this plays out. Thanks for the content. Take care of that foot Sugar!
I don’t understand people who don’t wash their hair. Whether loose or loced, I shampoo once a week. If people don’t wash their hair, their hygiene practices in general are pretty suspect.
Y'all stop being afraid to wash your hair. Y'all so worried about unraveling but at the 4 month mark they wont unravel much.. plus you'll have clean hair
@@finallygoated2361 My Baby locs are 6½months old... from beginning I've washed my hair once a wk. Not a fan of too oil but Rose water is my holy grail 😄. I stopped retwisting 4wks. Now I retwist lightly every 8wks. I need to post my progress, I'm loving the different stages.
Hi , just stopping by to check your loc journey . I hope all is well , you haven't been on here in a while . I know how hectic life can be . Best Wishes 💝
The debacle is because every other person has a different recommendation for how often to wash their hair 😭 Im almost 3 months in and my locitation recommends every retwist (6 weeks) but I lift 4 days a week, we’re gonna have to change that.
I had a very dry scalp as well. But surprisingly I’ve watched videos in the past where some would say witch hazel is good for the scalp. So once I started using that on my scalp it has helped a lot. I put it on my scalp maybe about 5/10 minutes before I shampoo and then I rinse it out and then shampoo and continue everything else as normal after that
Please come back and do an update! I love your locs! I shampoo my hair once a week!! Where the “dirty locs” grows faster thought came from behooves me. Wash y’all hair! Dirty hair is nasty and if you pay attention it usually looks dusty as hell!
I definitely don’t understand dirty hair. I take a bath or shower Twice a day I also work out. And I love running my locs through water. Water helps your hair grow also eating fresh green vegetables help my skin and hair and nails. I think it’s gross not to wash your ass and hair✅
Morning 🤣🤣🤣 people are so crazy on here, I Like your comments back to them, I’m in Chicago too just started my braid Loc journey with relax hair not sure if I’m going to retwist or interloc, or how this relax hair will turn out, Do you think you will ever interloc or just keep retwisting ?
I may try interlocking if I can find someone that does it. A lot of locticians don't offer it or charge more. I like twisting because I can do it myself if I need to though.
I keep coming to your channel hoping you post and update again 😕
She gave up on the locs.
@@natturner3420 damn really 😩
@@lisam7203 Yea I wanted an update too so I went to her IG page to see if she stuck with them. I was rooting for her. lol

Love it!! Good Hygiene is essential!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
