Yes, this is a video about Windows 2000 and some challenges and one somewhat bias solution that I use in the field. The key takeaways are that with Windows 2000 machines, they may be harder to get working because most of today's solutions use instruction sets and non true-i386 binaries/kernels and have requirements that often render them useless on older computers running Windows 2000 Professional and/or server.
I show you how I instantly remove the Administrator password and get logged back in.
One final note is that if you are using EFS, DO NOT remove the password if the data is important to you. In that case the only chance of getting your data back is hoping you can bruteforce the SAM file which is normally only successful for shorter and simpler passwords (I will make another video on this).

Will a USB 2.0 drive work? I have an Omni Tech. I don’t have a cd burner or floppy drive. Will this work? I believe it’s an admin password because even in safe mode it asks for the password.

I see we've had clients before that have used our software with your machine to get back in . The HP 423 is definitely a classic and you'll need a solution that I've described which works on older computers too and works in 256MB of RAM. In your case, as long as the CDROM drive is working, you should be good to go.
Hi I have just paid for the software I put the CD into my pc and pressed f12 to change boot order from CD drive but it is protected by the admin password so I cant change the boot order please help
Hello Bren here is a quick guide to remove your BIOS password. First see if you can find a master password and if not remove your CMOS battery or use the right jumper to reset the password: techcult.com/remove-or-reset-bios-password/
@@areebyasir5545 hi again I have burned the disc image but when I boot from cd drive I can hear the cd drive moving but it does not load anything when I burned the image it said complete although on your instruction page it shows file size 23,227,568 bytes and the one I am burning is 42,047,488 bytes? Is this correct I followed every step it states on your page I am stuck

This solution or similar should help you to remove it. If for some reason you can't find a way to boot anything on it (if the PC is quite old!), you should be able to move the drive to a more current machine for password removal (one other way is to use a SATA to USB adapter).
