A day in the life: Midnight Sessions at the Royal Albert Hall

- I get lots of questions about how I spend the day before one of my night shifts at the @RoyalAlbertHall so I did a little video diary yesterday…! I do this about once a month, doing a lighter work day before I head in for the evening. It’s tiring but I love it!

I also sleep twice a day. It feels like living a double lifespan. One week of spring break feels like a whole winter recess. One semester feels like one year and learning an entire year.
It's incredible passion and the feeling that she gets when she plays the organ, she looks completely happy doing it.

Oh wow, I was in London a couple of weeks back and wondered about going to the RAH and seeing if you happened to be around!
so how many hours sleep do you normally get [5.5hrs was min for me in my prime]

One piece of music I would love Anna to play... And that's the opening to KOYAANISQATSI by Philip Glass... Very similar to Interstellar by Hans Zimmer... Now that would blow the dust out of the big pipes in the organ... But unfortunately I don't think Anna takes requests... I manage autism and listening to Anna playing, I find extremely therapeutic..

To be honest: I'd bring a sword too if I was going to play organ in a giant empty Victorian era hall in the middle of the night.
