This stunning pond which was build last year is now almost completed. It's been running for a while now but with very few Koi.
The owner bought a beautiful 82cm Torazo Kohaku on the latest Harvests in Japan. She is stunning!
The pond is 7750 Gallons running on 2 bottom drains.
Each drain running to a Nexus 320+

Every time you show this pond I get major pond envy 🤣🤣 amazing pond and fish 👍 thanks for your videos love it
Another great video!👏
I would like to thank you for taking the time to chat with me and giving me an impromptu tour of your quarantine ponds last Friday afternoon. Of course, some of the magic and glamour fades a bit when I watched Paul rolling up his trousers before jumping into the small pond to fix the bottom drain cover! Thanks again Tim, it was greatly appreciated. Enjoy your Japan trip! John
Ps thanks for getting an answer to the lightbulb changing dilemma.😂

Beautiful fish, and what a pond, nice video Tim, would love to improve my pond to have fish similar to that, what a bueaty, well done to that guy and his hard work, I have a multibay but sadly no room for a big nexus dough. Love the videos and info. Keep it up, if your ever in Northamptonshire u can give me some advice.
Such a lovely indoor pond and the sky light sets it Right off with natural light and what a lovely Mega kohaku to compliment his Pond. Also I bet that ctvv gets proper worked out 😅...Ps I would move my bed in there let alone the fridge 😂
Give him time!!
I’ve watched quite a few of your videos… They are always fantastic to watch… Quick question, how do you extend a pond ? If the current one is 8500 is it possible to double it’s size with minimum effect to the Koi ? Mine are all from Japan so I know how to take care of them… but an extension has to be the way forward… R
They will have to come out and go into a temp holding pond.
Afternoon Tim, I’ve enjoyed watching your videos and have found them very helpful, nice koi by the way.
Can you give some advice on recent algae bloom. I have an existing nexus 210 bottom feed and recently added a baki shower being fed by internal pump with no uv attached. The water from the nexus through double 55 watt uv. I’ve been struggling since installing the baki shower and wondered if it needs a uv before returning to the pond. The algae is clogging up the nexus and I’m having to flush every two days.
I’ve been adding blanket weed natural powder to try to clear algae. Please advise if you can.
Kind Regards Errol. Ps. My pond volume is 8000 litres. 👊🏾
It’s probably a lot to do with the shower, not in a bad way but just because you have altered the eco system. I’d use cloverleaf blanket answer, it will nail it
Hello Mike, beautiful setup and amazing fish. On my pond build with RDF with bead filter to Bakki shower all gravity feed, what is your recommendation with the RDF and bead filter, do you recommend putting them both RDF & bead filter in the underground fault, or only put RDF in underground vault and bead filter up top for possible easier maintenance for bead filter ??? Thx
Anywhere accessible really.
@@TimWaddington better to put both in ground or separate with bead filter out of ground? Thx
I don't keep koi, but presumably, for outdoor ponds, the nitrate build-up, and the consequent need for water changes, is dealt with by rainfall. For an indoor pond like this one, does the owner regularly drain some of the water and replace with fresh?
Yes when the filters clean.
Wow mine is just like the sleeper pond 1500 gallon not that big i keep being told
Lovely pond mate, whats the usual size of area would you recommend for a filter area? A broad question i know but I'm planning that stage at the minute for a concrete base drum filter uv etc and want to have enough room planned thanks
The dimensions should be available for the filter. It’s always nice to have space though. You collect all sorts of stuff. Treatment, nets and bowls etc. try go for big as possible
I can’t find your koi for sale page on your site
Pls direct me ?
We will be uploading some koi to the site very soon 👍🏻
Any news for us peasants that are not heated over tosai
