So we attempted to test out the off road capabilities with these two fantastic off roaders!
Unfortunately they were too evenly matched and was a stale mate! Both 3l V6 engines, road tyres and fairly equal weights.
So afterwards we decided to do some donuts and have a rally around the estate. Good fun but very dirty...

The Discovery 4 and the Range Rover Sport are basically the same - with the Disco they dropped a better-looking and more practical body on the chassis and with the sport they dropped a more luxuty equipped body on the chassis.
Under the skin they are the same.

they have the same mechanics, the same engine and the weight. Why..... do should one or the other win?
It was more a competition between two friends then two vehicles, there are some slight differences between the two vehicles and it was just interesting to see what would happen really.
Whats the mileage on the d4 any engine troubles with it

Yes so currently 245,000 miles on it 😂, engine problems you ask? Well before we took it off road there was none but now, urm yes a few lol
Well that was fun, nice vid..but guys be careful when attaching strap to tow bar. It's not rated for force like that and can cause death or serious injury when is snaps off like a bullet. Killed many the unwary.

The Discovery is a more practical vehicle I find then the Sport, the Sport is really what it says it is, a more leisure vehicle.
