- In this video I take the Zontes G1 Scrambler 125 (ZT125-G1) for a little ride to see what it's all about. Can these little bike really hold it's own against the big manufacturers and can it with the hearts of young beginner riders to be their first motorcycle? I think it actually can but more information can be found in the video.

It's very good as a beginner bike, keep low in the rpm range until you get used to it and to riding and then let sing at 11k rpm and access the power and the fun when you are used to it :D
@@RideWithAlex No 9800 is limit to protect engine.If you go more tha🎉n that it will brake the engine.

i have the 155g1 and yeah, the low end torque is not that good but overall i'n quite satisfied with the bike and it's a really good looking bike. thanks for the review.

Bought one of these a couple days ago but cant collect it for another week. The more I look at it the more I want it now
For offroad jobs you'll lower the tyre pressure anyways....fuell tank is enormous tho'

1,85m here, I wonder if I would look silly on it. Or more important would it be comfortable?
I don't think so, the bike is pretty big for a 125. You should try sitting on one in a showroom.

Not that I know of.
125cc is an internal combustion engine, electric engine is measured in kw.
Salut, îți apreciez videoclipurile tale, dar mai ales engleza ta. Sunt convins că aș vrea să cumpăr un G1 in următorii ani, după ce vad cat de fiabil este motorul chinezesc. Sunt foarte curios, unde ai învățat limba engleză atât de bine?
Sincer, când eram preșcolar desenele animate nu erau dublate sau subtitrare, am învățat engleza de la cartoon network o data cu romana de la părinți :))))

@@mircemahar și eu sunt curios, din alte tari primesc informații pozitive dar pana nu le vezi pe pielea ta măcar 3-4 ani greu de spus. Avantajul ca dacă îl iei nou 2 ani stai liniștit ca ai garanție în caz de ceva :))
@@RideWithAlex ai dreptate. Păreri pozitive am văzut și eu din toate părțile lumii. Eu asociez Zontes cu Xiaomi al motocicletelor. Calitate, preț sub piață, publicitate zero. Cred că, în curând, piața chineză o să își schimbe imaginea.

Mă gândeam să iau o Yamaha de 125 dar aia e 4300 euro și asta e 2500...
Inca nu am auzit sa se planga lumea de ea, cei ce le au si vin pe la revizii imi vorbesc numai de bine. Actualmente varianta de 125 este la 3000 de euro (tva inclus)

Asta a fost doar de test, dar sunt oameni cu cateva mii de km cu ele fara probleme.

It's 95% the same, just 3 extra HP a bit more torque down low
Alex I bought my second bike ever.It is U125 Zontes.Is very good looking.I never rode manual,so I am seeing that you brake then pull the clutch.I thought If I did that it would stall.
It stalls only when you stop, if the rear wheel is spinning then you can't stall the engine, you engine brake.

I like this bike a lot it looks big and unique. I haven't driven a bike over 23 years. I'm planning of buying one very soon. I really have desired it for years to drive again.
I also like the Yamaha XSR 125 Legacy but Zontes G1 Scrambler 125 really got my attention very much.
Do you have experience with Yamaha XSR 125?

Unfortunately I haven't been on the XSR 125
I bought one yesterday. I used to have a 2010 yzf R125. Build quality is very close but the zontes absolutely demolishes it in terms of features. It accelerates faster than the yamaha but the yamaha gets a better top speed due to the yamaha superior aerodynamics

It's a perfect beginner bike, try to sit on one and see how you reach the ground, there is also the U1 which has a lower seat in case this is too tall

So please I am about to buy my new motorcycle and I am between the G155 and the jet x 125! Can you please tell me what should I buy? You are the only person that you had to drive both of them!!!
A scooter is more practical, a motorcycle is more fun. If you do a lot of city riding I would go for the jetx, if you want to do more long distance trips the the G155. My personal rule is the scooter is a tool I use every day, the motorcycle is a toy for the weekends.
@@RideWithAlex thank you very much I really appreciate what you are telling me. But one more question if I chose the G155! How can I go a longer trip with this if there is no space to put my stuff in it? There's no space at all!
@@takis4954 you will have to buy aftermarket accessories for it, you can put a windscreen top case and side cases but they will go up to abou 6-700 euros total cost

Light error engine is on
I don't see the check engine light on :/
@@RideWithAlex the second orange light from the left.
Apparently it is a fault in a sensor of a valve that comes from the factory badly.
@@MASTOR08 ok, but on the bike I am riding it is not on.
The engine management light is suppose to be on if the bike isn't running. Once the engine is running the light goes out unless it picks up an error. The eml light was not on during the ride.
