If you push up gently from the two rubber spots on the bottom you can push the housing of the start and select button up and out. Even if you don't get it off completely it allows to create clearance from the shell without having to put the straightedge directly in-between the circle lining and the PSP go shell itself. @@bolattle I just did a shell and screen replacement along with a power armor shell and 128gb mod just the other week. I am adding 3d printed extended shoulder buttons also that extend to conform to the larger backing now, so I am a bit familiar with the device in my mind right now. In addition, the ring housing for the start and select might not adhere that great after reapplication. Putting a very small amount of thin double sided tape or just a microscopic amount of Krazy glue should do the job. Mine lifts ever so slightly and I have to press it down ever so often, but I'm too lazy to take it apart to address the issue lol. Hope this helps!

@@bolattle I have a modded vita that I put a white front housing with black buttons and analogs, a silver back housing, new screen, modded with CFW and 512gb card. I love that thing to death, there's just something about the quirkiness of the Go that's so fun. I also get long playtime with it since the vita battery goes such a long way on a small device like the Go. Honest to God my PSP go and PS vita get more playtime than my 2 TB steam deck with emu deck on it. I would advise getting thin double sided tape as well as super/Krazy glue! If I can get some details on the roll I have I will update and let you know.
