I'm building this and watching along as you do it. At about 5 minutes the flat end of the plastic part on the screwdriver is a big help pushing these tabs down into each slot.......😊

To date this is the only Kit I have built so far. It is definately 'fidly' in places and I also got concerned about breaking parts though thankfully didn't. Great job.

Parafin is still available I think. It's pretty cheap. Beeswax is a bit more expensive but still works.

Watching from down under and thought it might be a good winter project right now. You did a great job and although I enjoyed the video, I'm not sure I can attempt the viola which I just love. Guess I will be content with watching the video promo. I'm sure it would be just as involved as yours so I have a sad face. Thank you and cheerio.

This one still gets caught sometimes and I have tried to make small adjustments to the gears when I was building it. If I ever decide to make a video where we revisit any of the older builds then I will bring this back out.
