As Kyoto Station is on the Tokaido Shinkansen, the Tokaido Shinkansen is used to get to Shin-Osaka Station. That is why I pressed the button for Shin-Osaka Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen at the ticket machine, but there is no problem if you press the button for Shin-Osaka Station on the Sanyo Shinkansen.

Nozomi non-reserved seats are often crowded. However, Hikari and Kodama are not so crowded, so there is no need to give up your seat.😊🚄
