The major difference between Larry Bird & MJ is Bird Never played with a bad team (until his final years with the Celtics) & Bird Never had to Carry a bad team on his back for 4-5 years like MJ. So, to all you Larry Bird fans who like to say Bird was better than MJ, I absolutely disagree. MJ played with bad teams until he & the Bulls organization together made them a great team.
I disagree. Bird made the teams he was with better. Compare the year before Bird joined the Celtics and after. Also look at the year Bird was out due to surgery.

@Joel Villarreal Celtics was a bad team in 1979 when Bird joined the team. They only had Cowens, Maxwell, Archibald, Maravich, Chris Ford, ML Carr and Robey. But Bird turned it into a Title contender.
So here’s the deal with Bird and Jordan. Any team that is lucky enough to have either of these two play for them, would be ecstatic at the very least. NOBODY would be complaining. Two of the very best EVER. Appreciate Greatness! But screw Lebron, cause he’s a flopper. Also, he has to recruit other all stars to win. 2 great players, 2diff. styles. Just hate seeing people forget how great bird was. He took a team with 28 wins to 60 plus, just with his addition, and didnt have no where near the athletic abilty of jordan, also 3 straight mvp's in his prime, pretty special.

What “revenge” is that? I’m assuming it’s a reference to the 63 piece of the ‘86 playoffs that the Jordan fanboys are always barking about? You know, the one where Boston won the game, series and championship? The part they never mention, of course. I’m thinking “revenge” would’ve been Chicago eliminating Bird-era Boston on their way to the championship. But, that never happened.
