The documentary of Filter during the short bus touring w Matt walker and geno and Frank was just and continues to be a sheer joy of seeing a proper band that cares about executing live but let's loose and wrestled eachother and creates an energy and atmosphere for their fans that is their own little world - it is a source of such pride and joy for me to revel in their beautiful music- seeing them raw in the videos, and turning to the darker sounds when that needs to be ventilated from my brain- I will always love this band and cheer for Rich Patrick's story arc. What a champ.
Filter is one of my top 5 favorite bands of all time. Love this! Thank you so much for putting this together! I got a chance to meet Richard after a show. He's such a genuinely nice guy.
What a good fuckin interview! I remember i bought title of record when i was 11 years old and i ended up going through 4 different records of how much I played that album it was literally on day and night. Also an we talk about how iconic the filter style was? Especially the wardrobe very clean metro suits and omg can we talk about how sexy they looked! 😂 sorry I had a fan girl moment ❤
Actually he recorded the one guitar part on PHM. He was Trent's show going buddy to see Ministry and Skinny Puppy, he was the touring guitarist for the bands first tours including opening for GnR. Trent thanked his live band in the liner notes for Broken, and later stated that it set him in the direction he went. Also Short Bus is the perfect album. Richard Patrick was in NIN longer than Dave Grohl was in Nirvana.
Welcome To The Fold is a genuinely perfect tune. I love everything about this episode.

No. I don't have one, either.
