There wasn't a conclusive result of the polygraph because of an untreated medical issue. However, Dan conducted other tests, such as the structured interview he mentioned. On that test, she scored a -15. Different tests - can't compare apples to oranges.

Why did the children go to foster care instead of the father?
Trick Tracy probably because he wasn't in suitable living conditions, he doesn't have a job hell it could be a number of things.

When I was around 15, I would babysit my infant niece. I watched her up until I moved out of state when she was four. Most of the time my mom was there, but sometimes I was left with her by myself for a few hours. At night, wanting to be responsible, I would actually take care of my niece. She would stay in my room with me, as I kind of liked getting that experience. I wouldn't pawn her off on my mom when things got hard or I got exhausted. I stuck it out. If that meant being woken up every three hours, being spit up on, and changing diapers at 4 A.M, that's what it meant. (My parents were in the very next room. She was never left over night with me until I was well over 18 and she was no longer an infant). It can get stressful. You can feel overwhelmed. But never, even then, would I ever even consider lashing out at a child, harming them, force feeding them, etc. it blows my mind how grown adults can lack such self control. It blows my mind how that can even evoke that sort of response. I'm not talking about women with Postpartum Depression. That's a whole different story. I completely get that that is something women genuinely cannot help. But for people, male or female, who aren't suffering from that to harm a baby, toddler, or child..it's hard to even comprehend. When I would be alone with her, and just wasn't able to figure out what she wanted, sometimes all you can do is go through the checklist of things it could be, and then just hold them and comfort them until they calm down. Throughout the chaos and the screaming and the crying, you can remain entirely calm because that's how you calm them down. That's how you teach them to behave. I'm not going to equate myself to an infant or a toddler, by hitting or screaming at them. Because I'm the person teaching that infant or toddler how to communicate. I just don't understand why or how anyone would harm a child or try force feeding a child. It should never get to that point. You should have enough self control to conduct yourself in a responsible, reasonable manner. Or you shouldn't have kids.
Yeah, but PPD isn't an excuse either, and it angers me when people try to use it as one.

My parents told me when I was a baby around 9 months old that I would "buck"/throw my head back. It scared the shit out of them and they were young, first time parents. Scary as the sensation is, they secured me and it's not rocket science to know how to instinctively cradle and protect your baby

a few summers ago i went to stay at my aunts house, i was 13 or 14 at the time i think, i honestly can’t remember. i stayed at my aunts house with her and my cousins, and i slept in my baby cousins room as there was no room in my other cousins room. my baby cousin was 1 or 2 at the time. she’d go to bed around 8-9pm, and wake up around 6-7am every morning (except the last like, week or two i was there i slept in the basement cause i was exhausted) i would wake up with her, change her diaper, read to her, play with her for about an hour and then i’d go downstairs and feed her, have her watch tv. that happened for about a month. i did it to take some of the stress off my aunt, she’s such an amazing mother she deserves some of the stress off her

I don't understand how people can do something like that. Even SERIAL killers, most of them, would draw the line at hurting a baby. I think it's a cop out to say that person needs help. She might have purposely said she had a medical condition so she wouldn't get found out. That baby might be better off in foster care, I hope the loving grandma gets custody
