With the opposite sex one, I feel like the friend has to be a friend of the relationship instead of just the one half of the couple. The friend has to know both people in the couple so that both people in the couple are comfortable with them and trust them

as a girl with a boyfriend of 5 years and 4 of them being long distance, very early on we were clear that we really wanted to talk on video call the most, then voice call then text (besides my boyfriend is dyslexic and doesn't like texting in general lol) i think its super important because it helps reduce misunderstandings and miscommunications, its so much nicer to hear and see someone and make eye contact when you're talking to them, especially when they're miles away!

Love hearing about your views on leaving for the honeymoon and not helping cleaning ! In France, the married couple stay at the wedding party all night long and they clean the venue with some family members and friends, and they eat the leftovers together. The honeymoon comes weeks or even months later ! Always thought it was kinda rude for the married couple to leave before everyone else whenever they show that in a movie or a show, but I get it now ! my grandma & grandpa didn't have the time / money to do a honeymoon when they first married but a few months later it worked out for them to join some friends on a trip and they just used that for their honeymoon.

This is funny because I was all about the question “you have to ASK me to be your girlfriend before I am” with the boyfriend I have now. And he didn’t understand why he had to ask me. It was a big thing 😂 but in his defence, he thought of our relationship in a more organic way I suppose, that we were just growing into boy friend and girlfriend naturally and so nothing needed to be said because it was the natural progression of things. I feel this “rule” of not hanging out with the opposite sex is more normalized in the US / Australia. I’m from Spain and I find it so weird! I’m in a relationship with an amazing man that I love and respect so much! We ADORE each other and we are extremely loyal. However I have male friends and he has female friends, and we hang out with them in group or alone. I actually love hanging with my friends one-to-one sometimes to have deeper conversations and spend quality time with each other! I trust my partner with my life and I wouldn’t even care if he went to visit a female friend and stayed over at her house, and he wouldn’t mind if I did it either. I find it even sexist! Like, why are you making a difference? Being straight doesn’t automatically make you be attracted to all people of the opposite sex. In my personal opinion, your relationships with your friends are very important and shouldn’t change when you start a relationship.

I think the arguing convo can go back and fourth because maybe it’s a season you’re in… like postpartum is really hard. You’re both beyond exhausted, it’s a hard situation you’ve never been in, then on top of it some have to go back to work with already being exhausted. So maybe there are small seasons that you argue more, however it’s about learning to get help when you need it. Get a therapist or couples therapy, etc.

I think men and women being friends depends on the people involved. My best friend moved from Perth/Aus to marry his beautiful wife and her entire family have welcomed me as his best friend with welcome arms. There has never been any fear from her about our friendship because there has never needed to be and because there is so much love and respect from me to her and their relationship. And their baby girl just makes me melt, I love them all so much.

My dog passed away today. She was only 6 years old and yesterday everything was normal. We took her to the ER this morning because we thought she ate something bad and they told us we had to put her down. She had pancreatitis and diabetes and key tones in her blood. They said she wouldn’t last another 3-4 days. Hug your dog(s). They could be gone tomorrow and you have no idea.
I got back with my ex and it was too early when we were together during school, and now we’ve been together 5 years and we get married next year May 🥰 I am so happy we broke up the first time bc we weren’t ready to be with each other yet, mentally. Now, we are so ready for each other 💖
P.s. These videos are SO encouraging and healing for those of us that need healthy/fun couples to look up to but to ALSO talk about and get deeper into the important stuff. ❤️
We stayed and cleaned up after our wedding, even though most was already done after we changed... My father in law is pastor at our church and they were having a revival that week, so we just felt we were helping the church by staying to help clean.

Absolutely love this video! Definitely should do a part 2! I honestly really agree with both of yalls on every point especially the ex thing. My bf and I dated at a very young age and broke up.
