Good catch! The band was moved to the left of the stage in 1984. All the casts of 1981 to 1983 had the band on the stage, but the 1984 and 1989 versions had the band off the stage. I am not sure why they made the change. I actually liked it better with the band on the stage. Nevertheless, I think this is a great cast some of the singers I really like.
@@mattryan3297 my friend was the one that filmed it. I was in the audience sitting next to him. It was the end of summer. I believe that this may have been the last show for this specific cast. It was the two day cast.
