When the video opened with "we are in Greenville" i got so excited. So close! I spent two weeks in Greenville South Carolina in 2013 when i worked for Sealed Air/Cryovac. Anyway, loved the video!

I thought of a Tad Moore putter when you first picked up the unmarked putter, just going by the sole with 3 brass plugs(like his Pro 7) and the 2 steps on topline/flange. Tad does have a 3 step small mallet putter from the 90's. What kind of shaft does it have a TT or Apollo? As you said Bobby Grace, i could see it with how much slope it has on the Tri-sole, like an HSM version. Let us know when you find out who's the maker!
Could you not have swapped the shaft from the 2 and cut it down and put it in the 7 to make 3 to SW ? You could then reshaft the 2 and sell it separately ?

These irons use taper tip shafts. This type of iron shaft has the tip of the shaft specific for the numbered iron it is going to be installed into. The 2 iron shaft is intended to be used only in the two iron. You could perhaps “get away with installing it in a 3 or 4 iron, but if you tried to install it in something as different as a 7 iron, it would be too flexible and not be properly matched. You aren’t supposed to tip trim this type of shaft and they will not fit into the hosel of the iron if you were to tip trim more than an inch or so. Therefore, you really can’t use the two iron shaft into the seven iron head. But it would have been a good solution if these used the more common parallel tip iron shafts.

I was surprised you said that the Callaway BB Alpha for $99 not being a terrible deal. I would expect them to be way cheaper given how many years it’s been a round. If I remember correctly, it didn’t get many good reviews when it came out. I loved it and actually still play with it occasionally.
Thank God for over-buttered grits!! I’m in AZ and I plan on going “back home” this summer. My grit game is strong, but there’s something about having “Southern” grits!

BeCu Zing Lob Wedge, Odyssey&Ping broomstick putters, a handful of Titlest 915f fairways, 816 H1hybrids & 915D2 driver ... all but 1 hybrid with Diamana Red M+ shafts!! Then some G20 fw's, G10 irons(5-W)and a 2014 GBB driver(S flex FUBUKI shaft!)🤯🤯🤯... and a $5 SM8.
I had a set of graphite Zings and when I contacted Ping about replacement shafts they told me that they hadn't seen those shafts for over 15 years. Only option would be to find an odd Zing and remove the shaft.
You couldn't pay me enough $$$$$$ to play with Ping Zing irons!! They just don't go anywhere....I could hit my 1966 Wilson Staff Fluid Feel blades longer that those things!
I live in Greenville NC, I visit that play it again store about every 2 weeks. Have found several treasures there. I was there 1 week ago and I don’t remember that putter being there, I’m kicking myself for not noticing it.
Y’all did more cruising through G-Vegas than I have, and my son goes to ECU. Didn’t even know there was a Play it again there. Will be checking it out when I’m back in town. Did get to play Ironwood GC a few weeks ago, there in town. Nice track. It’s where the ECU golf team plays
You said that was the fanciest fast-food restaurant you have been to. I live in Asheville NC and we have the Biltmore McDonald's next to the Biltmore house. It was on a ton of shows. Since you're kinda close you should check out Asheville if you haven't been already.
If you ever find a long drive club with the longer shaft, I would gladly buy that from you with a more than fair mark-up. I am in Canada and have been looking for years with no luck. That breakfast looked incredible and now I want to make biscuits and gravy!! LOL

That wouldn’t work for those irons because they take a .355 taper tip shaft, not a .370 parallel shaft. But it was a good thought.
