I hope this video can help you guys in overhauling a D4CB engine. Feel free to ask questions in the comment section and I'll do my best to answer everyone when I'm free. I've included engine block and cylinder head assembly up to mounting the engine to the unit.

Hola amigo tengo una furgoneta Grand Starex cvx se dañó el cabezote mi pregunta es si le da el cabezote del Kia Sorento por favor confirme gracias
buenas ; te agradezco me ayudes , tengo una hyundai h1 grande Starex 2011 , me ha fallado 3 veces de cigüeñal , me dice el mecánico que es culpa del conductor que mete mal los cambios , pero han sido 2 conductores diferentes , y el daño del cigüeñal es en el mismo punto , en la primera pieza del mismo. En el último arreglo q le hizo le cambié turbo , bomba de lubricación , pistones , y otros detalles . Hacen 4 días se le recalentó a otro muchacho , pero no daño empaque de culata , solo rompió una manguera que fue la que produjo el daño de temperatura. Al 4to día se le daña el cigüeñal , osea hoy . Vuelve y me dice el mecánico que es culpa del conductor .
Q produce este daño ? Mal montaje ? Mal uso del vehículo q es Diesel ?
O en fin que puede causar el daño de un cigüeñal ? Bendiciones y agradezco la ayuda

el motor tubo un recalentón y tengo que ver si el bloque esta empenados para llevar a ratificar la culata es nueva tengo que mirar los arboles de leva por si están empenados

Falto poner una empaquetadura o sellos antes de poner los levas!
Por eso prefiero comprar un motor nuevo de fábrica que restaurar uno. Nunca quedan igual...

Amigo una pregunta ese cabezote es el mismo del Sorento y el mismo de la furgoneta Grand Starex puede ayudarme con ese dato
me fijé que no torquearon nada.. ya no me dieron confianza x'D y el empaquede culata tenia aire de ser muy artesanal, los anillos de fuego se veian muy disparejos.

How did u remove the camshaft sprocket bolts? Im struggling with it right now. Same engine
There’s a slot on the camshaft where you can hold it down with a spanner to remove the sprocket bolts. Easiest way is to use an impact wrench tho
