    Man I appreciate you putting the whole thing up here and seeing the whole process. Really reminds me of myself when I'm struggling learning my own machines as well. I had a M&R Diamondback S and a happy voyager 1201 and just ordered a Ricoma 1502. This was really good insight and you're inspiring me to make more videos! I'm probably the same age too brother

    I feel for you. I don't have a fancy machine like yours but it's always the bobbin or the tension that causes the problems. The machines are very sensitive. Glad everything turned out in the end.

    Lol I feel ya pain bro. I got my 1501 about 4 months ago and felt every bit of the frustration in this video. Not sure if anyone mentioned but when I do structured hats I always give the middle area a few sprays of water to soften that area up a bit. Also use 90/11 needles. Keep pushing! tha anxiety of runnin’ the machine is a mf. ✌🏾

    You came through! Appreciate the vid bro! I mean your quality looks the same if not a little better then who we outsource to and they have Tajima machines. So that tells me it’s all about the digitizing and not so the machines. You’re are just starting off so I can only assume your stitch quality will get better, especially when you learn how to digitize yourself. Keep the vids coming bro!

    • @baavproductions

  • @TheEmbroideryWarehouse-nz

    I’m sure someone’s already mentioned but also digitizing designs specifically for caps will help - start the stitching from centre bottom outwards.

    • @baavproductions
      @baavproductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your most definitely right about that

  • @EXZEKPressdan
    @EXZEKPressdan 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Great video, make sure you remove the backing on the hat. The hat is already hard for the needle to go through with that cardboard backing its even harder for the 75/11 needle to penetrate. I would suggest adding tearaway to the back and after the stitching has been completed, hit it with a heat gun. It will look amazing. The heat gun will tighten the stitching making it look tight. Pass the heat gun lightly. Good luck

    • @baavproductions
      @baavproductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah the cardboard backing was definitely a blooper that wasn’t supposed to happen haha! And great tips! The heat gun method is something I’m definitely going to have to try!! I appreciate you Daniel!🙏🏽

    Amazing job! Starting with a 12 head machine is already something! The beanies really looked great! Not sure if it was mentioned already, but it is actually quite easy to remove the water soluble when you spray it with water a little bit and then use the torn off part to tap on the remaining water soluble. It takes it off very easily! Keep up the great work!

    Is it possible to do these videos without the music or a better mic? I appreciate the info but the music is way too much.

      Music is added in the background to keep things interesting. Not sure how your not able to hear me as I’ve watched this video over myself on multiple devices and can hear myself perfectly. Appreciate your two cents tho lol

    Привет братан! У меня такая же машина МТ-1502. Машина очень капризная, приходится много с ней заниматься. Никак не получается сделать бейсболки качественно.
